The hotel is located in front of the pond that is a popular place for tourist. The room I stayed was facing it. It may not be a convenient location, as I always have somebody who picks up me. You can still enjoy variety of breakfast and calm phenomena. In the early morning, it took me only 14 min to...

The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly. The room was a great size. I loved the view of the city and loved the breakfast. It is in a nice location and, although it's a large hotel, has a cozy feeling. I would definitely go back.

Conveniently placed for the High Speed Rail station (about 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes walk) but a fair distance from the city centre. Close to the lotus pond if you want a pleasant 4 mile walk although mosquitoes were a problem when I visited. Hotel rooms are ok; mine was a reasonable sized double facing away from the...

Breakfast spread was good with small selection for vegetarians. Hotel is quite a distant to the nearest MRT station but about 15 min walking. Taxi rates are...

There is some degree to which these reviews are based upon personal preference. So I will list what worked for me and what did not: Worked: Comfortable clean bed Good blackout shades Good mini fridge in room Tap with hot water available in the restaurant for no extra charge so I could get boiling water if the restaurant was open...

This hotel is across the street from Lotus Pond. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable to western standards. If you've ever slept on a Taiwanese bed you will fully understand what I'm referencing. There's two dining facilities, the one I visited was a buffet with an excellent choice of both asian and western foods to suit...

I really like the Gardenville a hotel. The marble floors are very shiny and beautiful breakfast buffet is good. However I was disappointed once I got off the elevator and headed to my room. The carpets were dirty and in some places showing more ware than expected. In my room the light-colored carpet had no less than 10 stains on...

Stay 5night in this hotel.. Location is near to the Lotus pond and in fact just 5min walk across the bridge... Surrounding hotel have good choice of local taiwanese food store and it is not too far from the HSR station. The Han sheng shopping mall is about 30 min walk away.
