Every now and then you experience service that is memorable for the effort people take - this was our experience at the African Tulip - in particular with the manager Anuj at African Tulip. We unexpectedly needed a night at a hotel in Arusha and stayed here because we had been impressed by it the previous week - indeed a...

We stayed on two different occasions, before and after our climb Kili experience. Our stay at the African Tulip was faultless. Perfect accommodation, committed staff to offer you the most pleasant stay and memorable meals (we loved their Indian dishes). Only minus: having to pay 10 USD for 24h wi-fi.

With the price to quality ration offered in Arusha this is definitely the place to stay. Clean, large rooms and good service. Didn't get a chance to eat breakfast as I had to leave early the next day. They were happy to clean my room twice in a day. The wifi is good

We had modest expectations for the hotel but it was better than expected. We were upgraded to a suite. Location was great. Just a short walk (~20 minutes) to town centre with the clock tower. Coffee and beer at the lounge was nice. Dinner was buffet style and very tasty. Service staff were warm and very friendly. One of them...

From the minute you enter this Hotel you are treated like royalty. Nothing is too much trouble. All the staff are so helpful very friendly while being extremely professional. There is in my opinion no other choice in Arusha. There is a pool to cool off in, several places to eat a great breakfast and well appointed clean rooms. We...

It seems like Africa but is so comfortable! Our 13 year-old granddaughter's words! We stayed here three nights before embarking on a 6 night safari. What an easy introduction to Tanzania! We liked the decor and the food and the rooms and the small gift shop. Soup each evening was delightful! We had two rooms for the four of us...

Our safari company booked us at the African Tulip and we didn't know much about it. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by smiles from everyone in the reception area. It was such a treat to have the staff immediately assist us with our duffel bags, carrying them up the stairs to our room while generally making us feel right...

We went with Odysseys International and were treated very well. Didn't spend much time there because out on safaris , but food and service were quite nice. In quiet area of town...you would never know how busy the town could be from being there since it is secluded.

I usually stay at the Arusha Hotel but was asked to stay here for meeting purposes. The rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean. The majority of the housekeeping staff are young but certainly do a fine job and are always polite. Regina my housekeeper was so nice and very helpful and had a nice smile no matter what. Down...

We had the great pleasure of staying two nights at the African Tulip and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's atmosphere was warm and welcoming -- Beautifully decorated with spacious rooms and common areas. The service was exceptional and the food - breakfast, lunch, and dinner - was fresh and delicious. The pool area is very nice with a fun atmosphere...
