The rates of this hotel are very reasonable and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. For this I am giving a very good rating. First room they put me in was on the 2nd floor facing towards the side entrance of the hotel. It was fine, a little peeling paint on the ceiling in the bathroom but clean...

Location-wise, this hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Tfa Plaza, to your right down the main road (Sokine Rd), where you will find an enclave-like oasis of Western confort (burgers, provided by the # 1 Arusha restaurant on this site, as of this review; comfy cafés; quiet bookstores), away from the hassle of the Arusha street. Right in...

This was a good Hotel, the rooms were great and exceptionally clean , there was fast and reliable Wifi and hence you were always connected to friends back home, I however did not enjoy the breakfast, it was insufficient to cater for the guests present and the staff were reluctant and not helpful in availing any , this left you...

I stayed at the Mc-Ellys after a late night arrival into Kilimanjaro. The hotel is fine, certainly by Tanzanian standards, but it's definitely nothing to write home about. The room was clean, the shower was luke warm, the towel rack was half falling out of the wall - but again, this is Tanzania, and it's a cheap room. Restaurant was...

Stayed in this mid range hotel from 7 to 9 march 2014. Having gone through many review and found nothing particularly interesting, I decided to scout for a hotel myself. I bumped on this hotel on my way to the bureau. The rooms were very clean and very well maintained. The food was delicious and the chef did a great...

Fair cost-return ratio. Rooms are really clean, water is warm, satelite TV was okay, location close to the central market. Breaktfast standard but good. Staff is friendly. WiFi is not working in all rooms. They charge 55 USD which I think are well spent. I would go there again!

We stayed overnight in this hotel to get an early bus to Dar es Salaam. It served the purpose because it was near to the bus terminal. The lift to each floor was working properly. The wifi was working ok in the room. All other things were just basic and of average Tanzania standard.

We used this hotel as a base between our Mt Meru climb and our safari, had 3 nights here in total. The staff was extremely kind and attentive, and the rooms were clean and spacious. We paid US$60 for a twin room, and this included a nice buffet breakfast. The hotel is located smack in the middle of town, within...

I recently stayed here at the beginning and end of a safari. It's a hotel used often by the local tour companies, as it is a reasonable price, safe and clean. To be honest - the chances are you'll spend very little time in this hotel, as you'll be transiting through, so value for money and safety are the key...

the hotel is centrally located in a very noisy area of arusha, (very close to the bus stand.).. although the rooms without balcony that have a side yard view are relatively quiet. the place is furnished with chinese cheap and second hand furniture which provide a very awkward atmosphere. at the first floor the restaurant seems to be clean but...
