I stayed at Mount Meru Hotel for 2 nights ahead of my Kilimanjaro trek and 1 night after. This is my second stay in the last 6 months and I find this hotel to be quite adequate. It's comfortable and clean and the staff are always very welcoming. The rooms are well maintained, the beds and pillows are comfortable and...

Our family spent a short night here after landing in Arusha and prior to heading off on Safari. The rooms were nice and quite comfortable. Staff was friendly, grounds were pleasant and the breakfast in the morning was a great way to start us off on our journey. It's just the kind of place you'd want after a very long...

Rooms are big enough and well equipped, the bed is comfortable, bathroom is well furnished and equipped and the view on the Mount Meru is wonderful. Restaurants and bars inside are nice while the pool and garden areas are gorgeous. The only slight remark is about a general "impersonal" feeling that makes this hotel a bit cold, probably better for...

I went to mount meru hotels several times during the week and the only day worth is the Thursday, because of the live band which is amazingly awesome. The service is really poor, we have to wait for long for a wiaiter to attend to us. Really disappointing. But happy hours, half a price for all the drinks comforted us....

Reasonable hotel. Good breakfast buffet. Rooms okay but bathrooms old. No outlet in bathroom. Power is sporadic but that may be arusha. Fitness center is mediocre with flimsy treadmill. Has all business conveniences.

My second time at Mount Meru was simply amazing. First i was able to check in despite arriving before official check in time. Secondly, the room i got had amazing view of the golf course. Thirdly, the front office manager allowed me to check out very late in the afternoon. Only thing i felt let down was breakfast service shuts...

We stayed at the Mount Meru Hotel the night before our Safari and spent 5 hours there in a day room before flying back home. The hotel is an oasis of luxury in Arusha and you feel very much at home when you're there. The rooms were great, the lobby and dining areas very nice, the pool area was comfortable...

It was a tale of 2 halves. First half We arrived late in the night and when we checked in it seemed like a 3 star hotel. The check in staff (and all of the staff for that matter) were really nice. Nice modern rooms but the showers seemed to soak the floor. There's a mini bar but nothing in...

The Mount Meru hotel was very nice. We got in very late Saturday night and the desk clerk was ready with our paperwork. We had two rooms, one with a king size bed and one with twins. Being so tired, I think we had some difficulty with things that we normally wouldn’t have. For instance, we didn’t realize you needed...
