You want to stay at Baraka Lodge! It is the place to stay, it is a very nice charming place. We stayed here as we needed a place to stay the night before and after safari, we didn’t like the hotels that the safari companies were suggesting, they were all expensive and tacky, really nothing special, also in the centre...

We stayed two nights at Baraka Lodge. Geoff and Fredrika were wonderful! They treated us like friends in their home. Our rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. There was hot water for our showers. The gardens were beautifully kept. They had mangos, bananas, papaya, limes, lemons and many more fruit trees and herbs. They also had a chicken...

This place is great for extended stays. The hosts Geoff and Fredericka are very hospitalable and they have a lovely herb garden! Because of its location which is very much 'inside' with very bad roads I give it a 4 star otherwise it'd be a perfect 5!

We stayed 2 nights at Baraka Lodge and it was a very nice stay thanks to Frederica and Geoff whose hospitality is amazing! The place is very nice and familiar, the rooms are simple but nice with hot water and a special charme. We booked very last minute but they managed to arrange us a shuttle from the Airport. When...

Baraka Lodge is a very nice place to stay. Being in Arusha and yet away from the hectic tourism centre we enjoyed our stay very much in the tranquility of Baraka Lodge. The hosts and the staff are extremely helpful. The topics of conversation would last all night long but then again Frederica had to quit to cook dinner for...

Baraka Lodge is a great place to stay at, we stayed there for 2 nights (1 before and 1 after our safari) and had a lovely time with Geoff and Frederica. They made us feel very welcome and were concerned when we had a delay in arriving. They helped us right from organising a taxi to get to the safari...

We are 3 friends traveled to Tanzania for 3 weeks during September 2014. We stayed at Baraka lodge for two weekends (after safari and on the second time, a week later after climbing Kilimanjaro). We hoped to find a quiet and nice place to spend the weekends and were lucky to find the perfect place for that! The Rooms are...

My partner and I went for the first time in our lives to Africa last year, on a trip lasting several months, which all started in Arusha, Tanzania. I was a little apprehensive at first, but could not have wished for a better introduction to this amazing country and amazing continent. Frederica and Geoff made us feel at ease immediately....

Baraka Lodge was a great start for our first trip to Africa. This is a small and very comfortable bed and breakfast, with an open air kitchen for guests to use and mingle in if they wish. A good supermarket is a short taxi ride away. If you order a meal, you will get to sample some of the best...
