We were really nervous and apprehensive about staying at a busy party hostel during the full moon, but from the minute we arrived the staff were so so welcoming and so lovely. Danielle was the nicest person ever and was always so helpful when we needed help with anything. We loved every minute of our stay and made best friends...

This place was amazing, the staff was probably one of the best things about this hostel. Davin and Alex were truly lovely guys and made our stay even better. I also had a great party, of course this is a party hotel but it was so good great bar with good drinks which are reasonably priced. I will say the...

I have been to five Full Moon Parties, four of them at this hostel. If you want to meet people and have fun, come here. The facilities may not be high compared with hostels around the world, but if you visit other hostels around Hadrinn you will know this place isn't bad. I recommend staying in the 40 bed dorm...

Free wifi, free water, Air conditioned bedrooms, cheap drinks, social environment, lockers, friendly knowledgable staff, great location, discounts to lots of local places because you're staying there and really, really cheap. I've been to 46 countries, 5 continents and stayed in dozens upon dozens of places... but the dancing elephant is one of the best. Dan; the owner, is knowledgeable,...

You have different kinds of hostel in the world. The cheap ones which barely give you more than a bed, the expensive ones with a breakfast and other extra’s. The expensive ones with no extra’s but just a very nice location,… Anyway, plenty of categories. Forget them all when you go to The Dancing Elephant. Don’t see it as a...

From start to finish the atmosphere, local knowledge, organisation and dedication of the staff was second to none. Dr. :-), Eddie, Jo and Alex were outstanding. The pre-parties organised in the evening were amazing with the hostel sorting transport either free of at the best rate possible to pool party, jungle party (a must do btw) and others. Rooms and...

The dancing elephant isn't only the best and friendliest hostel I came by in Thailand but you become a family with everyone there! And your trip only begins there, after you spend your 5 day full moon time you make so many friends you continue running into or end up going together to other islands for weeks after. The staff...

Simply amazing! The staff were welcoming and friendly, the people met friends I'll have for life and the location and atmosphere are second to none. Being my first hostel experience I must say it was bittersweet (hear me out). Sweet in the sense that the stay there was an experience that I will treasure for the rest of my life...
