One of the best experiences. The owner is so accommodating, will pick you up and take you back to town during the day. I highly recommend the trek she offers, complete with a bamboo cooked lunch. Beds are cozy and the cottages are spacious. I would stay here again.

During my 3 weeks trip in Thailand, this was the best place I discovered by coincidence ! The area is still wild and being in the jungle (no network, no electricity and most important : NO NOISE!!!) was an enriching experience. Thanks to Noi, Nok and her brother to having shown us a piece of Paradise.

Bamboo Nest is located up in the mountains only accessible on foot or by four by four. Nok and Noi run a great place. They make you very welcome. Nok cooks lovely meals. Breakfast was a simple choice or Nok was happy to cook something for you. The rice soup, one morning, was delicious. Dinner, which is a surprise each...

This is one of the spots you are always looking for and, unfortunately, seldom find. We are travelling a lot and Bamboo Nest is certainly one of the places we will never forget – truly a magical place. Difficult to access and located high up in the lovely hills west of Chiang Rai, with spectacular views particularly in the early...

Exactly as described. So nice to put the phone and laptop away. They accommodated my vegan needs. The food was incredible! Assisted me in finding day hikes. I didn't do any of the guided hikes but I heard they are worth the price. Beer, wine, water and soda are available for a very reasonable price point. It's absolutely worth it...

The couple that runs the guesthouse is lovely - Nok (the female owner who handles bookings and pick-ups in town) speaks great English and does everything to ensure your stay is great. Her partner, Noi, is quite a character and does every bit of handy work around the cottages. He made a big bonfire for us each night, which was...

Nestled in the Lahu village, Bamboo Nest pampered us with its gorgeous view of greenery. As there isnt much to do after the sunset, we chatted with our neighbours (the other guests). I think we spent almost 1.5-2 hours hanging out while waiting for dinner and over dinner. We were really lucky to have nice company, Jennifer and Mike, Dinali...

The bamboo nest is a lovely getaway! It is quiet, in the middle of nature! The bamboo nests are clean and very authentic. Keep in mind in order to get this fabulous experience it is at least an hour drive out of Chiang Rai... but very much worth it! The hosts are lovely. If you have signed up for the...

The bamboo nest was exactly what it advertised. It was in the middle of nowhere, a walk away from a hill village and a pretty waterfall and the only noises were the chirps of insects in the evening and birds in the day. There is nothing to do which suited me, and the view from my nest was so beautiful...

Getting here was half the fun. We loved staying in a bamboo cottage and relaxed straight away. Think hammock with a view over rice fields to mountains. We also visited a lovely local waterfall. Food great (expect to pay a little more but worth it - generous serves, delicious yellow curry). Breakfast not included - 190B for full cooked breakfast...
