Conveniently located with lots of eating places and bars nearby. Friendly taxi lady at front on street. Helpful and friendly receptionist at Sams who spoke very good English. Banana pancakes for breakfast were yum! Room was fine but I would have liked a sheet on top of me not just one blanket. Shower warm not hot but I never wanted...

We stayed here for 3 nights with no problems. Brilliant location for bars and restaurants, yet there is no noise from the street to the room. War cemetery and the bridge over the river Kwai is in walking distance. We did two excursions too that both picked us up from the hostel. Generally the place was clean and tidy (you...

Great location in Kanchanaburi within walking distance of the Bridge over the River Kwai. Hostel is basically floating on the river so it's pretty cool, hosts were welcoming, pretty helpful. Good location and get what you pay for accommodation

We were looking for a resort and then look down alley off backpacker street and saw this place. So welcoming! It has a tropical feel - little walkways around water when you get to the rooms and cottages above the river near desk. If you head down stairs to River there are different size bungalows - 2 to 4 people...

Take your money elsewhere. Had to consider this joint the worst place i have ever stayed at. Should have known better when they required a two nights minimum through agoda. Booked a riverview cottage. Assigned to an irregularly shaped room by the river. The moment i opened the door, i had a very strong left-over puke to it. Pretty obvious...

Very affordable with flexible bookings. I will stay here again when I return to Kanchanaburi. The staff speak very good English and the quaint, nature vibe that the place gives off is enough of a reason to return.

Nice place for backpackers simple and basic just what we expected.. Stayed a couple of days and rented mopeds and ventured out to the waterfalls, nice little town only a short walk to the bridge. If in town would recommend visiting the elephant world they do a great job looking after them.

The hotel is on the main street in Kanchanaburi where there are shops and bars. The river kwai bridge is a good 20 minute walk, and Erawan falls is a 2 hour bus journey from the bus station which is also around 20 minutes walk away (we just got a tuk tuk to the station). Staff were helpful when asked,...

Well located next to the river and in walking distance to the famous bridge. Restaurants, bars and the main sights are also nearby. The huts are ok, but scruffy. Nobody seems to take care about the place, a bit sad. Service still does not exist, but overall staff is friendly.

We stayed two nights here to visit the Bridge & Hellfire Pass. Location was good, friendly staff & a nice hideaway from the chaos of the water festival! We stayed in a bungalow, while the room and bathroom may be a little dated and in need of a good spring clean there were no major issues & I would stay...
