This hostel has been one of my favourites. Rooms are big and beds are comfy. Nice big bathroom/shower area with hot water! I didn't find the front desk staff overly friendly or helpful (couple others said the same) but the bar staff are great! And the BBQ kebabs are delicious! Good location to get a boat to Railay! But not...

This hostel is fantastic! The staff is nice, the hostel is gorgeous, huge and super clean! I loved it! The hostel also has free BBQ, it's not tons of food but it is super delicious! We also rented motor bikes from them, which were also great. Overall this is a fantastic place to stay and I would definitely recommend it!

Pak-Up hostel's facilities are quite clean and they have nice and warm strong showers. They also have lockers to put your items in but you have to bring your own lock. They have a free BBQ every night (2 kebabs per person) and happy hour from 5-9.30 (if I recall correctly). They have different events every night and also different tours...

Rooms they had big lockers for all bags, nice beds, and clean bathrooms that provides soap &shampoo. Drinks at the bar are pretty expensive in comparison to other places in Thailand. Bed prices are a little expensive as I booked a room in new hotel shared with another person for same price.

LOVED this. The vibe and people both staying and taking care of us was great. Wish the area around was more lively, but lots of cute cafes and across the road from a boat to Railey beach. Also a family mart in front which is super useful. Hostel facilities are fantastic and their cool games and bbq. FYI - music...

Youth centric hostel.. one stop place to take scooters for rent or for booking ferries to phuket or phi phi(transport to ferry pier is included).. They also provide free barbeque. The hostel has a bar where they play limbo and other games .. the beer prices inside hostel were reasonable too.. u won't ever regret choosing this hostel.

This Hostel is one of the best i have been in southern thailand! The hostel is modern and well kept despite its size, along with the beds which are a dream to sleep on. They also have bar downstairs which can get quite lively which makes it good for socialising, and also have a free BBQ where you will get...

Ideal start for travels in southern Thailand and the islands. The hostel was clean, spacious and well laid out. The rooms were all great, individual lockers and comfortable beds. location was great, right next to the street food market, and a row of shops selling everything you'd want. Good chill out area in the front to meet other travelers, and...

Pak up hostel was super nice and very clean. The staff were all helpful and friendly and it felt very safe and comfortable. The only issue we had was with the air conditioning at night, the room would sometimes get very hot. Other than that our stay was very pleasant. The hostel bar is fun, they organize drinking games and...

It's a nice enough hostel, it's clean, good facilities. But it's 390baht and you can easily get as good accommodation for 200-250 baht elsewhere. It's nice that the price includes two free BBQ skewers, but it really feels like a plan to get you into their Playground Bar where drinks are expensive-at happy hour they're 100 baht (big Chang), outside...

If you are looking for a top notch party hostel within accessible distance to all of Krabis' famous attractions while paying a budget price then you are at the right place! At Pak Up, we work hard to ensure every detail is right and the place is spotlessly clean, beds are comfy while providing all the best nightlife Krabi Town has to offer within our safe and secure premises. Pak Up management strives to go from strength to strength, keeping up with all the new global trends in the world of properties and budget travel. When you arrive, you will notice this is nothing like the run of the mill property you will typically find in SE Asia. As a former school, the property is themed accordingly room by room and is in a loft style oversized setting. All our rooms are set to the same standard, with international plugs, reading lights, under-bed lockers, bed shelves, towel rails and 3.5 ft beds. During the day you will be able to either take advantage of the many tours available at our reception desk or just chill out on one of the many terraces dotted all over the property. Our tour desk offers a seamless way to see everything in Krabi at a reasonable price and you will never be left stranded anywhere. Our staff are trained to make sure you avoid stress. We have free wifi throughout the hostel, no curfew and a 24 hour reception to keep things practical for our guests. Notably and extremely rare for a hostel in Thailand, we have official registration which means we have passed all national hotel safety standards. Playground, as the name suggests, is a place for big kids like us to socialise, drink, play, and generally acquire great memories along with great friends from day one. The staff will strive to offer the very best in hostel entertainment with great deals on whenever you care to visit our bars. We have a weekly schedule posted in the lobby with daily activities and weekly competitions. These are usually competitive and involve a lot of drinking! ... more   less
