We stayed for one week in early January at Joy Bungalow. As long as you are not a diva, this place is a hidden treasure in an area that is swarmed with tourists! Almost all of Koh Jum is one step up from camping on the beach. There is no electricity in the bungalows, but the main bar/restaurant area has...

We stayed at Joy Bungaloe for four days and though the bungalow itself was adequate it was overpriced for what you got.We paid 1400 bhts for a room with very little shelving to put anything on and though I recognize there is no electricity it should lower the cost of the room. It is very basic.The other problem is that...

Instead of lights in the room you need to use lanterns at night which they give you. but dont worry you can still charge your phone where you have your meals. my advise would be to get a moped and ride into town for some cheap but excellent meals. although there were a lot of bugs and the mosquito nets...
