The fan rooms were decent and clean, but the bathroom and room had a weird smell that lingered. It can be loud if you get a fan room near the parking lot. They can clean your room if you ask them too, but sometimes hard to find or communicate with staff (a little Thai goes a long way in getting...

Walk in in the morning. We found Rom Thai after asking a few guest houses. The room is more expensive than we expected but it worths. Owner and the garden are very nice. We took an air con room. Although It is basic, it's spacious and spotlessly clean. All windows are completely covered by mosquito nets. Coffee and tea are...

Big, clean room set in a lovely big garden. Room has ensuite with a powerful hot shower, comfortable firm bed, fan, TV, table and chairs, cupboards for clothes-one which locks and 2 bottles of free water. Wifi is strong in room. Lovely friendly owners and staff, room cleaned each day. Very good value for money. The garden made the place...

Clean rooms nice garden but internet patchy close to unusable at least in the building close to the reception. For the standard of rooms prices are too high. There are more price value options around the lake. The hotel is situated behind the lake temple.

Very clean, AC worked great, fresh bottled water every day. Landscaping is beautiful. On site laundry, we didn't loose anything, but it did take a couple of days to get it back. Short 5 minute walk to the lake in Maehongson. We loved it and would stay again.

We stayed here for a night because everywhere else was booked. There was nothing spectacular about this place, it's pretty basic and clean - hot shower, ceiling fans, TV, towels, and drinking water. The bed was so HARD. The room was clean and there is a little garden at the back to walk around. There is also a spacious carpark...

I stayed here one night before a room became available at Piya. The rooms are charmless, but basic and clean. No bathroom or electricity issues. It's not right on the lake but the town is so tiny it doesn't matter; plus it's quiet. The grounds are pretty and if the owners would re-decorate the rooms, upgrade the bedding and towels...

I was looking for an inexpensive, basic fan room with a private bathroom for 1-2 nights - and that's exactly what I got (300 baht, single use). However, I noticed that there are also other options (higher standard, with air-con, etc.) available. My room was big and clean enough (they could do better as there was hair in the sink,...

When I first got to my room, I thought the bed was the hardest bed I'd ever slept on in my life. After staying in 5 different hotels throughout Thailand and Cambodia, I now know that the bed was very typical. By the end of 2-1/2 weeks of travel, the hard beds felt comfortable! Pillows were very (almost too) plump;...

I had to stay here for work and after reading the TA reviews was ready to ditch it after the first night but when I arrived, it looked much better than expected. The rooms are fine - pretty clean, great shower, clean towels every day, large fridge, good AC (quiet) and a fan, crisp white sheets. Room has some nice...
