We checkin on the 11th of Aug for the night, our rooms 202-204.

Checkin was easy, all guests must signed and paid 500 thb as a deposit. Each room got wifi access, which so far been very good. Decent speed and no drop out just yet.

Mini safe is available. Install coffee facility and larger area to move and luggage space.

The rooms have multiple lights switch and power point. Shower is good pressure and it is hot. Only downfall is the size of toilet and shower. Both are small and the layout made it a privacy issue if you are not a couple

The hotel is located slightly out of the town centre… 10-12 min on foot, might be a bit tricky if you don’t drive. The management photos certainly don’t represent the true state of things, incl. swimming pool area and the actual rooms.
The room itself was spacious enough and functional, however there’re certain things that took us by surprise to say the least.
First of all, there’s no proper bathroom, instead there’re two microscopic spaces designated on a side (shower room & toilet) + sink located inside the room!
Pillows super hard and difficult to sleep on, no hot water while taking shower only lukewarm at best.
Next, the walls were full of various stains & marks, the bulkhead area (where the air-com unit was located) was all damp with plaster hanging in places, ready to peel off anytime. The space designed for the luggage was inadequate hence its wasn’t possible to spread anything down there which was a shame.
Finally, for some unknown reason, on the terrace there’re no chairs or tables which again turned out to be a wasted space…
On a positive note, the reception staff was very helpful and positive at all times.
We liked the area around swimming pool since there’re not many people hanging around at the time. Air con worked well, so did the mini fridge & safe box. Strong wifi signal across the room and decent size TV.
After we checked out, I asked if we’d use their luggage storage for 24 hrs and they happily agreed.
Overall, there’s plenty to be improved in this type of hotel, in particular those few practical / aesthetic issues. I can’t say we didn’t enjoy our stay, however some of the things that I mentioned bothered us quite a bit and should have been resolved differently. I hope the management can take a closer look and address those matters in near future.

Check in on 15th March, the day receptionist (Lady) who check us in was very polite and kudos for her in making arrangements for obtaining a rental scooter for me. Room size was good and the location was pretty close the main Town.

However, was a bit disappointed that a hotel as such is unable to provide an additional pillow when requested.

I'll had to roll up the bath towel with the existing pillow provided, to make do...

Called B2 Premium, but in fact only very basical.
Very small shower cabin. NO warm water in the lavabo, NO breakfast, NO chair to sit and rest in the balcony, NO good English speaking staff.... And a cockroach in our room !...

This is a nice, modern hotel, reasonably clean. Staff are sweet but limited English. I think their wifi doesn't work well because they had trouble finding my booking, The wifi dropped in and out or just didn't connect when we were there. There is a noise which drove me nuts. Every two minutes it starts, stops for a mInute then starts again. We tried to ask the staff but got nowhere. Don't know if it's drilling or an air conditioning unit or whatever but not conducive to sleeping. It stopped at about 12am and started again at 6am.
Oh and they were letting off fireworks during the day (?) behind the hotel. Also nice and noisy.
Gardens are a work in progress, not finished yet.
Rooms are nice though, clean and nice design. Pity about the noise. And I can hear the telly and shower from the next room really clearly too.

Alot of positives..., but overall not so good...
Staff is polite and helpful, so nothing wrong there..., but there is some noise in my room that started about 6 o'clock..., some machine turning on and off with 20 sec intervalls, very disturbing...
The style of the hotel is nice, but the finish is terrible...
Some good planning along with some good workers come long way instead of half decent workmanship...
Suspect there is no siphon in the shower as bad odur is present... makes me worry about safetycut in shower-heater when i see sloppy work like this...
Last up is the bed... the main reason i give more than 2 stars..., VERY comfortable 😁

Booked a pool view room. After checking in and entering room there was no view. Contacted reception and was told they were fully booked and that was all they had left. Also had no wifi signal at all in the room, it was fine outside room, but once you entered it dropped completely. Contacted reception again. They reset router to no avail. After contacting recwption again I was told there was nothing they could do. I asked if they could do anything to make my stay more comfortable and they said no. I asked for a room upgrade due to the issues anf even though they had a room available they refused.

This is hands down the worst service I have received in any hotel anywhere in the world. The hotel should be ashamed.

I have been to Mae Hong Son many many times. Before, I usually stayed at Imperial Tara Mae Hong Son, that was fine with a spacious room and breakfast. But, since the hotel is quite old, then I looked for another hotel and I found B2 Premier.

When I checked room availability on Agoda, it was fully booked, so I booked through hotel's website.

Upon check-in, the process was struggle, because the receptionist could not find my booking and she searched all the papers on her desk for about 5 minutes. Finally, she could find my booking which was on the desk right in front of her since beginning.

My party had a wheelchair and they have a slope for wheelchair to get into the room that is thoughtful.

The stay was convenient because I had my own car, so the transportation was not a problem. But, it would be nicer if they serve breakfast.

The room is spacious with almost everything we need ie. hair dryer, shower gel, shower cap, etc. The wall is thick enough and we could not hear a loud noise from outside. As there was a group of guys drinking nearby my room, but we didn't hear them when we were inside the room.

They don't have iron to borrow. The Aircon was functional and hot/cold shower was good.

The swimming pool has chipped tiles and some yellow stains that need to clean.

Overall was ok to stay in a new hotel with new bed and pillow. But if compare on facilities and services, I would recommend Imperial Tara Mae Hong Son.

I would rate this as average. The room is generally okay - a little bit of ants here and there and I understand this is Thailand.

The sewage smell is a little bit too much - but if you don't turn on the exhaust fan it's bearable.

Bed is comfortable. The place is okay clean. Parking is plentiful. Rate is on the cheap side.

Pool is on the small side. The room is overlooking some dirt in front of the hotel .

Mae Hong Son is a quiet town and very authentic Thai village feel.

It's a Thai chain hotel. They will send someone to your room and check whether you have broken anything before they let you go. Also, hot water comes from the typical Thai style - instant hot system where water become hotter if you run less water through.

Stayed in hotel for a night and it’s one of my worst experience ever. We went with a group of friends and we need a extra bed for which the person at the reception said it will be 350 baht extra which we agreed and paid. Strangely we only got the bed and no comforter ! When we asked them they gave it us and after a while they called and told us that they will charge another 350 baht extra for the comforter. I have never heard of any hotel which charges separately for bed and a sheet ! And the point to be noted is a room for two costs only 799 baht and they wanted to rip us with 700 baht for just a bed. I have attached the room rate on the foto. We didn’t had any chance so we paid the whole 700 baht just for the bed and comforter. A total rip off by the hotel staff.
