9 days with Pat our guide and Sun our driver. Incredible experience through the beautiful moutains of northern Thailand. We discovered the people, their agriculture, way of life, delicious food and their amazing landscapes. A travel through space and time showing our kids (12 and 8) where the real values are.

My wife and I stayed with a family at Ban La-Up (Lawa Village) for one week. It was the highlight of my trip to Thailand. The family was warm and welcoming, and so full of joy! We spent the week just hanging out with them, exploring the village, and visiting a couple of other villages nearby. The food was delicious...

What a wonderful journey around the north west of Thailand. We travelled with Winai our guide and Goh our driver for 5 nights, 6 days. The lads proudly shared a lot about the area and took us to their hometowns for a 2 night home stay. The tour is personalized and they have many ideas and knowledge too. They were...

We stayed four amazing days with a wonderful family in a beautiful town. The guides, drivers and the family were very friendly and taught us a lot about their lives and their culture in a very warm honest and fun way, The meals in Jom's kitchen around a warm fire with the whole family were fantastic and our visit to...

I stayed twice with Jom and her family for a week each time, once in September and again in late October. The experience is as raw and authentic as any- andboth the family and the village are amongst the friendliest people I have ever met. The real difference with this experience lies in the approach to the homestay- Pat and...

Honestly, I'm hesitant to share our experience with Hilltribe Holidays as I would hate for it to grow and change. It is PERFECT just as it is. My wife and I spent just three days with Piak and Sak in the Hills surrounding Mae Sariang. In those days we experienced sights, sounds, tastes and smells that we will never forget....

My wife and I own a US-based tour company specializing in off the beaten track places, authentic experiences and emphasis on people to people interaction. Melissa and Pat, the couple who own and run this funky yet highly professional operation deliver all of the above with warmth, style and Charm. Yes, for sure spend 2-4 days in the classic tourist...
