Detailed Reviews
The location was great to walk where we needed to go, and a quiet street in a local area. The room was very spacious and clean. We also needed to use the onsite washing machine. Check in and out was effortless. There was a nice common seating area which we didn’t use, but I saw others reading there

We spent a few days at Boondee House during out travels around the Mae Hong Son Loop. Immediately, we felt very welcomed here. Mr. Too shared with us a lot of useful information about the area. The guest house was very comfortable and clean, and there is nice access to a communal space with a kitchen that overlooked the mountains. Would stay here again!

We really liked our one night stay at Boondee House, having booked last minute with a change of plans, we were so happy to have chosen this place. Great amenities, everything you could possibly need; lots of parking near the rooms, water, big fridge, fresh towels, hot shower, TV, hairdryer, lots of plugs, kettle. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Nice communal area with more facilities and small kitchen area. The whole place was very cute and the owner was so helpful and welcoming. Thank you Boondee House! We'd stay here again over any other resort or guesthouse in Mae Hong Son.

+1
Boondee House is located perfectly in the centre of town which makes it easy to access everything that's there to do and see in Mae Hong Son. There's plenty of parking for cars and motorcycles on the property which was amazing. The room is spacious with the bathroom at the back being very clean. The owner is absolutely amazing, giving us all the ins and outs of what to do not only in the city but the surrounding area. He gave us even 2 maps he's created showing all the hidden gems. Highly recommend this place as it's great value for money!

I stayed in Boondee Guesthouse recently and found it more than comfortable - within easy walking distance of the town area. I was greeted by Mr Too's mother and re- negotiated the initial price she offered for the room which was good fun and which later caused a laugh between myself and the good lady. For me the room was fine - I stayed 3 nights. Mr Too was very very helpful - he took me to the bus station, provided directions to places of interest, provided a bicycle - i went on a day trip with him and enjoyed the day - at this time of the year Mae Hong Son was very quiet but well worth the visit. Recommend breakfast at one of the cafes leading into the day market. The loop from Chiang Mai , Mae Sariang, Mae Hong Son, Pai to CM - by bus - in my opinion - outstanding

The Boondee House exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. It was clean, large, well decorated and amply supplied with water and toiletries. The enormous bed was a joy to sleep in, the only problem being I couldn't take it home with me!
It's well situated near restaurant and bars, and has a great balcony to relax and sip some of the complimentary (instant) coffee. Oh, and your room comes with a kettle with which to prepare it.
Best of all are the staff and owners who are extremely kind and knowledgeable. I can't recommend guest house more highly than Boondie House. While we originally paid 600 baht online for a double room, after we wished to extend our stay they dropped the price to 500 per night. Well worth it I'd say.

If there is one thing I will not forget about this guesthouse, it is the owner, who never stops smiling and genuinely cares about your stay. From the moment I showed up to his window, he helped me understand the map of Mae Hong Son, rent a motorcycle, suggested places to eat, and even gave me a lift to a bus station on his day off.
The guesthouse is located centrally in town. It has a nice common room on the second floor where you also have access to a microwave, free tea, and plates/cups/utensils if you ever want to pick up food at a market and bring it back home.
The room was very spacious with a fan, aircon, a refrigerator, hangers, TV, coffee making facility. The sheets and towels were clean and smelled fresh. The bathroom was also clean, with a good pressure shower and hot water.
I enjoyed my stay at Boondee and absolutely recommend for other travelers!

Boondee house tucked on a row of houses. The owner was friendly and shown us interesting places around the town. The room was spacious and clean. They will clean the room daily and has free wifi too. It’s just a walking distance to restaurants, cafes and night market. Wat Phrathat Doi Kong Moo (Temple on the hill) and Wat Phra Non (a 12-metre long reclining Buddha) are just behind and a walking distance only. You can walk up the stairs to visit Temple on the Hill. The owner even fetch us to the airport without charge. We had a pleasant stays here.

I chose this guest house based on TA's description. Since this was a quick working trip to Mae Hong Son I needed wifi, quiet, and walking distance to restaurants. Mae Hong Son is small and easily navigated on foot and owner Htoo arranged a tuk tuk from the airport, a quick 3 minute drive. Our room was large, with king size bed, fan, AC, hangers, desk and chairs, on the 1st floor overlooking the driveway and a flowering bush that attracted lots of butterflies. The bathroom was off a small rear balcony, with good hot water pressure (after I located water heater switch, high up on outside wall). At 500b, breakfast was not included but there are several cafes nearby. The only complaint we had was the cold overhead fluorescent lighting, easily remedied with a couple of bedside reading lamps.
Khun Htoo works as a medical technician at the local hospital, so is not always available to answer questions. However his 80 year old betel-chewing mom was around, and while her English and my Thai aren't the best, we managed to communicate with smiles and sign language. When it was time to leave, Khun Htoo drove us to the airport during his lunch hour.

The accommodation, bedsheet and towel were very clean.
The owner was helpful, however I felt quite unhappy with the long neck village tickets (250baht per person) that he sold us as the village was just rows of merchants, some were the "long neck" ladies. And I'm not sure if you even need tickets to go into the village as it didn't say so anywhere.
