We stayed at the hotel over the new year period 2016 in 2 Deluxe rooms within the restaurant wing building. Our rooms were booked 2 months prior through the hotel directly. We are a family with 2 small children who have spent time globally at various hotels/resorts of all ratings so below is not a reaction but a choice review...

Dear guests, We apologize in any inconvenience that we may have caused you. But the fact that you were not happy about the hotel with the exchange rate charge. I have to explain here that the hotel cannot do anything with the bank and the currency rate and we have made it clear that we can accept Cash, Visa card...

Can't beat the price of this place, I paid $40USD/night. The hotel was in decent condition offered free wi-fi, pool with bar and a buffet breakfast and dinner. Though they call themselves a resort do not expect a 5 star experience. There is a mini-bar stocked in the room (extra charge) and you get two free bottles of water per...

My husband and I spent our christmas in this hotel last 2014 and I must say that we had a great time during our stay. Staff are friendly and nice. Location is great, very close to Bangla road/shops and beach. The skypool is awesome overlooking the beauty of phuket.

We stay for 4 nights. The staff were helpful an located within walking distance of all the places to see in Phuket. The place is great value for money. There is a 24 hour reception which is very convenient. The pools are great and the views from the room as worth a visit. Will stay there in the future.

There are plenty of other places in Patong that are nicer at the same price. We were put in a level 2 room that was almost attached to another building. No sunlight at all and very dark. We had been out for almost an hour and came back and realised that the slider door to the 'deck' was broken and...

Not guest friendly (500 baht joining fee). Why set up a hotel in a Red Light area and then charge joining fees? Really nothing here for children, apart from the pool, and an old style TV. The beach isn't far away Only take a room if facing the pool otherwise you will be looking directly into a Run-Down neighbourhood whose...

Such a great choice for my budget. Quite location but still near the beach (10 mins walk), night life (7 mins walk). I got a quite large room for 2 people with pool view (from 3. floor). Clean and comfortable. Reception is helpful. You can even borrow an umbrella when it is raining. The pool is beautiful too.

It was my second trip in Phuket, Thailand. My friend and I booked the room through Agoda as I have some points, and I used my points to get more discount. We paid RM290 per night for the room (breakfast included). Amata resort was convenient as it was located near to the tourist attractions. Outside the resort was the night...

I stayed at Amata resort a few times over the years. Last time was earlier this year. the hotel has a good spacious, clean and a moderate furniture. But don't expect much out of the staff but some of them are friendly and helpful. The location is good as it's about 6-8 minutes walk to both of the mall and...
