Stayed 2 nights at this location. Its pretty decent. Intially the taxi driver had difficulty finding the place, took 2 phone calls to the operator to finally reach the location. After that the check in and stay was very smooth.

They had friendly staff with a decent grasp of English. Around a 10 min walk to the popular patong beach area and a 15 min walk to blangla road. Its located away from all the hustle and bustle of the main shopping stretch.

The pool is fantastic and very underutilized!

The hotel seems to be filled with eastern europeans, I am the only non eastern european on the hotel list that i took a peak in!

Cant comment on the pricing as i stayed during the peakest of the peak period.

We came to patong to celebrate songkran and stayed at I dee for a total of 4 nights. The front desk staff were extremely rude. One of the front desk staff actually tried to lecture us all because we wanted to pay for the room separately. The housekeeping woman on the 4th floor (I think) was amazing. The hotel is a good walk away from Bangla but it's still an okay location. Plus it's close to i-kroon the best restaurant ever with the friendliest staff.

I stayed this summer some days in I DEE hotel. Missed some money from my safe and than i installed the program ispy on my netbook and activated it when i left. After 2 days i found there had been someone in my room. It was the man from the reception .I had the whole video and went to Patong police where I spent the whole day;The guy was taken to the station where he confessed.
Then i checked out immediately.I told everything to the owner nothing happened . no sorry no money nothing. They had my telephone number also the police but no response.
I lost any confidance in all those people there.
I give you 1 photo from the video if you see this guy take care.
For me phuket and I DEE hotel no more because this was not the only thing that happend.

Response from Manoch S, Manager at I Dee Hotel
Responded Jul 16, 2013
May I explain the story of this review as below details. Mr. Robert was returning guest on his 2nd stayed with us between 20 – 30 Jun. 2012 Then on 24th he claimed to me that some of his money about 200 Euro had been lost from his room’s safety box . I expressed my regret to him in this matter and promised him to undertake investigation on this serious matter, but I found nothing advantage against to our CCTV recorded till on 29th he found this guy (Night reception) who shown up in the picture which recorded on iSpy system in his notebook, had came up into his room, he assumed the guy who was a robber stolen his money before. I expressed my sincere sorry once he show me the picture through iSpy system that what happened in his room to me in next day. I then have discussed with him how he need to deal the case, while being discussed he had an opportunity met with the hotel’s owner, he asking for a long period of free stays compensate, but my boss though about too much long and not agree with, he insisted to make a police report. I gave him cooperation with police station on this matter and I have spend the whole same day with him at there handled on it. The guy was taken to the police station for investigation finally he confessed that who was the person stolen that money, he suddenly was detained at police station cell waiting a police force the process him to the court as the Thai law deal and would finally order the robber pay back the stolen money to him with a punish sentence and of course this guy was expelled from our company since that day. As the serious intensive in this matter, we then had revised the measure of this security system, that nobody except the room maid be allowed into guest room, unless who get authorized by hotel manager. With the truth, Hotel Manager

I stayed 8 nights. Room was very clean , nice and location of the hotel is close to center. But on the other hand it was incredible noisy at night and for us impossible to sleep!! Every hour guys with motorbikes were shouting. And breakfast was very very poor. Nothing to eat.

The location on the Google Map enticed me into booking 4 nights of a
standard room at this hotel. The room was spacious giving me plenty
space to sprawl and great selection of furnishing. Typically, the
rooms in 3 star hotels are banal and lack quality interior design but
the artistic interior decoration in this hotel was atypical of three
star ratings. The modern shower/toilet area was quite large offering
liquid soap, shampoo, body soap, cotton swap and shower cap. The room
equipped with an electric kettle and condemn box offering instant
coffee and teabags. The mini-bar fridge fully loaded in the room and
two complimentary bottles of water offered daily. Plenty of hot water
and chilling air conditioning system that seem to always lack in many
three star hotels. The room offers great FREE WIFI and a safe deposit
box. The room come with balcony and rooms away from the street are
peaceful at all times though the noise pollution on the street tend to
subside closer to the late evening. The breakfast offers plenty of
eggs, some Thai dishes, toast, tea, coffee, watermelon and pineapple
cuts, two brands of cereals, milk and juices (orange and mango). The
front desk staff are helpful, I needed help with couple of small
issues in my room and they were very prompt to respond. There is a
nice pool on the roof garden with a superlative view of the ocean and
the lush green mountains. There is a giant food court and a shopping
center across the street from the hotel that makes life easy. There
are plenty of currency exchange venues, convenient stores (Family
Marts, 7-11s), massage parlors, motorbike rentals, bars, and
restaurants steps from the hotel and the beach is a short walk away.
The Bangla Rd and the Jungcylon Shopping mall are about 20 minutes’
walk.

Actually this hotel is nice. Clean and bright rooms, good stuff. Hotel is really close to the Patong beach and food market. But swimming pool was green and dirty. Also there was a problem with Wi-Fi.

Due to financial constraints we landed up in this hotel. On the plus side it is located very close to a night market, excellent street food, safe to eat. Further the room we had on the 5th floor was quite nice, very clean and good wifi reception. On the negative side it is noisy with motorbikes howling around at 4 in the morning, daily ( we were there for 4 days ). Even though one can walk to the beach one lands up at the south end of the beach and due to the heat we were sapped pretty quickly. The location is just a bit too far to where the ' action ' is. In short, good value for money but the initial impression was negative, dark and the front desk staff was very difficult to converse with and didn't appear to be interested in helping their guests. Breakfast, ah well one shouldn't talk about it. No variety at all.

Found this totally by accident on what now seems like a yearly trip, got chatting to manager and 7 nights later, found location excellent although can be abit noisy about 7-8am on road side with buses turning, night bazaar closes at 11pm so no problem for me,Clean rooms awesome shower, quiet aircon and a pretty decent pool on the roof and walking distance to beach ,shops and nightlife.Didn't try their breakfast so can't comment.
I found staff and management helpful and would recommend the i-dee hotel for the budget traveller also wanting abit of comfort
