A super beach front hotel tucked away on the edge of Patong.. Very busy but the staff were efficient and all seemed to run like clockwork . We had a Clubhouse suite ( 6207 ) gorgeous sea view, little bit tired in places but loads of space and a very comfortable bed, cleaned daily .. We only really used The Clubhouse which was really lovely.. Beautiful pool and restaurant area, delicious breakfast ..The staff here were exceptional.. Steep hill to get up to the room but never waited more than a few minutes for buggy transport up and down and any requests were dealt with very quickly.. Probably wouldn’t return as didn’t particularly like Patong but would highly recommend the hotel.. Thankyou for a great stay 😀
I fully recommend this hotel, location is great for Golf, nightlife and restaurants. The staff were amazing and the club lounge is well worth paying the extra money for. The Breeze Spa experience was just incredible and I had 3off the best massages I have ever had…… I definite must.
We arrived early at the Amari, advised our room was not ready, not a problem and knew check in was from 2pm. At 2 tried to check in advised room not ready until 2.30 we were given complimentary drinks, nice touch. Got our room just after 2.30, on entering room all seemed good until we entered the bathroom, I would say the room was still not ready as the bathroom shower base still had some body hair and soapy mess on the on base for previous occupant's, on the tiles by the shaving sockets a squashed mosquito and a opened partly used bottle of water by sink. We cleaned the shower but left the mosquito and used bottled of water in situ and they remained there throughout our week stay. We had noisy neighbours coming in around 2/3am banging doors and shouting. Now for the good things, our room had stunning views across the bay, majority of staff were lovely happy and smiling apart from breakfast time. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice but can be very busy and some rude other customers who just barge there way through. The resort and pools are very clean, bars have good selection of drinks and cocktails and good food. The beach at the Amari is clean but watch your feet whilst swimming as tide drops because of the rocks below. Amari is situated up a hill, quite steep when walking back to resort but tuk tuks are very cheap about 200tbh from sea front. Enjoyed our stay just a couple of minor issues but would stay again.…
Over all was a decent experience but not as per our expectation for what we paid for.The check in was a bad experience and was the same with some other guests also. The room was good but the food at talay buffet was served cold as I tried on two occasions. So they need to put a check about the same .
Me and my boyfriend had an amazing time here! They really went above and beyond to celebrate my bday after I informed them about our special event. The views are insanely beautiful , location is close enough to town to walk to, but secluded and private. Tan was a real help at checkin and showing us our room.
We had the best time at the amari! It’s actually a great value with the suite. You get breakfast with an outstanding view. There is also a 1 hour happy hour with very good drinks and plenty of options with a mini buffet included for no additional fee. The clubhouse also allows unlimited coffee and soft drinks while poolside throughout The day with top notch service from the staff. I loved my stay and would 100% stay again!
This is our 4th time staying at this Amari whenever we are in Phuket. We always stay at the Ocean view balcony 2 bedroom suites with Club Lounge access. The reasons we keep coming back are because of the service & staff at this hotel. Special thank you to golf cart driver Tong for always making our ride from the suites to the lobby such a funny & plesant one. And the Concierge manager Witt for remembering us & attending to our needs quickly. The Club Lounge servers BuBu & Arnuk for remembering our special requests every morning, you guys really reflect the hospitality of the Thai people, service with a smile & kindness. Also a special thank you to Ja from Guest relation for going the extra mile to help us with late checkout options. The Ocean Suits with balcony are peaceful & tuck away in their own area that we could stay in the suit’s balcony look at the ocean & watch the day go by….…
We stayed here for 13 nights and although I was a bit concerned having read some of the negative reviews, before arriving, we have had a wonderful time here. Yes, anyone who has mobility problems will struggle, but that is made clear in the hotel literature. The hotel is built on a cliff so there is a lot of walking involved but there are plenty of mini buses to ferry people to and from their rooms to the lobby. Breakfast is served from 6.30-10.30 and at no time did we see no food available, in fact the range of food was incredible. All the staff were friendly and pleasant although sometimes there was a language barrier (possibly our fault for not bothering to learn any Thai words before coming to Thailand?) We only ate twice in Rim Talay Restaurant, as we preferred to eat out of the hotel, but the food was good and the service was quick and efficient. We had an Ocean Suite, which was well worth the extra money and the rooms did look over the ocean. The two pools were great and the hotel did have a private beach which was seems somewhat rocky but if you walk out of the hotel for a few minutes there is a really good sandy beach.…
You guys are the most wonderful hotel Top calm and enjoy will recommend to friends I will be back soon for a longer stay. I enjoyed the stay, the service and the safety Thank you so much See you soon BR,
We had an amazing time at this hotel, service and people were excellent. We also had exceptional service from Nook who resolved a minor issue for us and ensured our stay was memorable and everything we had hoped! She was an absolute delight as were the bar tenders from the pool bar where we enjoyed happy hour most evenings !
