This is a nice, large, comfortable hotel, with multiple pools and swim up bars, and typically comfortable Hilton rooms. Nice beds and bedding, in a nicely appointed room hit the spot. Only part we didn’t like was the bathroom, which is definitely in need of updating, dark and rather small with very little counter space, and an uncomfortable tower over tub configuration. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We have had recently the best stay ever in Phuket at DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort. Hotel is located next to the Patong Beach what is very handy especially that there are many shops, restaurant and a stone away from Bangla Road for those liking to party all night long. Room was amazing, spacious and with balcony overlooking swimming pool. There are 3 swimming pools in the hotel, 5 bars (3 by the pools and another 2 by the main road), 2 restaurants (one for breakfast and another one for lunch/dinner). Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We have had few times dinner in the hotel and a la crate menu has a big selection of different dishes, which I’m sure everyone will find something fancy and very flavourful. Staff were fantastic and couldn’t do more for us! Special thanks to F&B team: Linda, Lionel, Mauricio and one more lovely girl whose name I have forgot. They were looking after us so well! Great location, super accommodation, friendly and courteous staff, good food. The Patong beach is just across the road and is a very clean beach with white sand. We always enjoy staying at this hotel on our Phuket visits annually. They have expanded the hotel by adding more rooms but the main building always remains the best

The renovated room pool side is compact but comfortable. The pool is large and mostly clean one of 3. Some of the guests are not very respectful, spitting in the pool and children peeing in the pool. Breakfast was disappointing, a pancake machine, a waffle machine, a coffee machine that you have operate yourself. If you eat eggs you are in luck as the chef was very good at making eggs. Starbucks is at the front of the hotel if you want a coffee. The check in staff were friendly and helpful. You need to book the hotel transport 2 hours before departing to the airport $1100 Baht, taxi $900 Baht.
