We have a room on the ground floor which has 80cm wide doors with one single bed and one double bed. To be perfectly honest, I don't know if it is suitable but then I don't know what your mate's detailed requirements are. So far as the girlfriend thing goes, we are a guest friendly hotel and do not make an extra charge for additional guests unless an additional bed is required.
