Firstly - the islands, coral, sea, sun, views, beach and especially climbing are absolutely spectacular. If you would like a couple of days of peace and relaxation, away from the crowds of noisy Scandinavian children (though occasionally one or two are brought, only for the parents to quickly realise their mistake and leave soon after) then it is worth a...

We (myself, hubby and 5yo daughter) just returned from 5 days on Koh Laoliang over New Year's. It is a stunning island paradise and a great place to get off the grid of email/internet, and just focus on *being* for a short time. We found it invaluable, as most holidays have my husband tethered to his email several hours a...

Very good for canoeing around island and neighbouring island. No boats unlike everywhere else in Thailand. Good for backpackers and rock climbers. Amazing beach on next door island. Not good for people who won't be doing activities all day as is boring. Not good for families. Bathroom and showers dark and not very clean as made of sticks and gravel...

Laoliang was the best surprise of our trip. It was like being on Phi Phi or Railay without the crowds. The beach and sea are clean and beautiful. There is a nice reef in front of the beach and the kayaking around the islands is very nice. The beach on the next island over is even nicer and more deserted....

The trip to Lao Liang was an absolute delight. We had to stay in tents, which we were a little skeptical about before we arrived. But once we saw the tents, we realized that this place is in fact very well maintained. The island is just madly beautiful, and not crowded at all. The staff members are professional and friendly....

Lao Liang is still just as chilled as when I first went there 7 years ago, only better organised. The staff look cheerful, friendly and always helpful which adds to the atmosphere. The beach is clean and still has it's squeaky white sand, the tents are different and in good condition (2 compartment safari tent style with electricity and fans) and...

I am one of those people, if I had a choice woiuld go for the 5 star experience, so going to Laoliang was a risk. On arriving at the Island via their long-tail boat was a warm welcoming affair. The staff were friendly and very helpful. My friends and I were seen to our tents, which were fine for tents,...

The great thing about Thailand is that there truly is an island for everyone. If you want the jersey shore all day/night and a beach that you may need vaccinations to get in the water; Loh Dalam and Ton Sai in Phi Phi, there you are. If you want hordes of Swedish children biting your ankles and you crave hotel...

What can I say...The island is a beauty, with small beach and gorgeous cliffs(climbing spot),perfectly clear water fine for snorkeling, but the resort itself...First of all, the staff, far too numerous and very loud, not leaving you any chance for privacy, or even for decent sleep. They start to shout 6.30 am, and don't stop till late evening, obviously they can't...

“Front row is closer to beach. All tents are ok. There is a "VIP-tent" with extra good view (and a bit more space), front row tents close to the VIP tent also good.”
