Six female college friends, over the age of 60, spent a few days in The Harbor House. It was perfect for us. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The upstairs bathroom is a bit small. The first floor bedroom does not have an air conditioner and relies on the living room wall unit so a small fan would be helpful....

My husband and I came to the Ledges in mid September. We felt the charm immediately from the quaint cottages to the regular marina guests family. The people here are wonderful. We had campfires at night where we would all sit and enjoy the sunset. The owners took us on a private tour of the thousand islands. Every morning I...

Lots of parking and picnic table outdoors. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean and neat, and it was good to have our own patio area outside our door for morning coffee. The management is really nice and helpful...

A most beauteous view from the Ledges Marina and Motel! Plenty of room to walk around the large marina area. Lots of parking and picnic table outdoors. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean and neat, and it was good to have our own patio area outside our door for morning coffee. The management is really nice and helpful. We were...

Though the staff was very nice, that was the only thing about the place we liked. Dirty outdated , musty smelling room. Noise from water pipes or doors slamming all night long (in the off season), Found a nice present on one of the beds, a dead spider! Cobwebs hanging from ceiling in bathroom and over the tv. Also over...

This felt more like a camping experience than a motel. Our view consisted of people sleeping and eating on their boats in the marina. Light came in thru the louvered doors keeping us awake. One pillow plus our king size mattress were covered with plastic. The too-small fitted bottom sheet kept pulling off the corners of the mattress. We originally...

The location is great, with views of Boldt Castle and the St Lawrence. The rooms are dated with original furnishings and bathroom fixtures leaving no place for our toiletries bag. I can understand that it would be very expensive to replace the furniture in 20+ rooms, perhaps someone will buy it and do a little renovating, or the owners will...

First time going to Alexandria Bay, and stayed in the king cabin, it is a lovely spot, the price was $89.00 per night, we stayed in cabin 23, king size bed plus living room with mini bar and microwave, you have to supply your own dishes to cook, so we headed to the dollar store. No radios in the rooms,...

My wife and I stayed here Memorial Day weekend, 2011. We are used to Jersey shore hotels so we were not suprised by the outside appearance of the building. However, the room was not quite what we expected. The first thing we noticed was the musty, damp smell when we opened the door to the room. Running the a/c seemed...
