Aqi Splashworld Venus Beach hotel is celebrated for providing good value for money, with guests appreciating the affordability of services and activities. While the hotel's rooms offer beautiful views, opinions vary, and some suggest they could benefit from modernization. The cleanliness of the premises generally receives high marks, although dated decor and the occasional ant have been noted.
Families in particular enjoy the on-site water park and beach, adding to the hotel's vibrant atmosphere, highlighted by holiday dances. Despite some comments about noisy evenings, the staff's warm and attentive service consistently earns commendations.

We are currently staying here on a 3 week stay and 2 weeks in. It’s our first time in Tunisia and I would definitely return. We normally go long haul but them days are over for a little while as we have a 2 year old.
The money we paid £1500 for 3 weeks for 2 adults and a 2 year old you can’t moan.
The biggest moan I have is the loud music around the pool some times you can’t even talk to you partner or have a conversation with another Guest.
The kids entertainment at night is the same and the adult disco you have to shout at each other. just generally the music or Microphone is 2 loud.
But even tho its too loud at times the entertainment is very good and pool games are too and the entertainment team put so much work and energy into there job. If you get bored easy there is always something to do archery, darts, volley ball, water polo and plenty more.
The food at breakfast is basic but you can survive.
Dinner and lunch you can always find some thing not the highest quality but again it’s cheap and a 3 star.
The drinks are ok there drinkable but don’t get to excited. The beer is ok and the top shelf is house.
The hotel is very clean and a big team of cleaners are always around. The hotel grounds are well kept and even going into the last week the grounds are kept to a high standard.
The splash park is very good and plenty of slides to keep the kids or adults entertained.
The pools some times seem cold but the little toddler pool is always warm so good if you got a little one.
The beach and sea are lovely and the sun rises are beautiful.
On a calm day the sea water is crystal clear and not very deep at all.
The staff are all friendly and polite but there are 2 that come to mind when writing this review Moez just a smiling happy guy always happy to help and gives you a smile and the Wahib the beach bar again such a happy guy and always puts a smile on your face.
The hotel manger Sonia is so friendly and always there to help unlike some other places we been. Whether it’s help on where to eat where to buy certain products or just help with translation on the phone she always takes time out of her day to talk to you and to see how you are and if any thing she can help with . When we did have issues with anything she was straight on it and got it sorted. She moved us to a lovely family room on our last remaining days which has made our holiday a little nicer as now we get to have more space to play games with our toddler and can relax a lot more in our room.
I would definitely come back just maybe with ear plugs.

I am currently on holiday at Splash World Venus Beach Hotel with my sister and granddaughter and have to say what a great place.
On arrival they made sure we had dinner before checking in as we had been delayed
Checkin was fast and efficient
We were taken to our room, which wasn’t quite right, so within minutes we were taken to a room that was right, thank you
All meals are buffet, and there is no need to wear masks unless you want to
All the staff are more than helpful
Great animation team, you guys work so hard and do a great job
The shows each night are worth watching.
There is a bar in the beach which has softly golden sand and security on it, always felt safe.
The Waterpark is great fun for the kids, it caters for all ages. All the pools have lifeguards at all times
We did have a photoshoot with the resident photographer, what a truly lovely person, he gives great advice on shots and is there to help you get the best photos, he shows you all the photos and lets you choose what you want and doesn’t over sell, a very comfortable experience, thank you
Over all a great family resort, well run, very clean, great animation and services, would happily come back another year

I’ll start with the good first .. if it wasn’t for the animation team this hotel would be dead !!! They really do make your holiday even down to taking you on a crazy train trip (defo recommend) they give u a good laugh on the way out and look after you while shopping ! (Always barter with the shop person )
They was round the clock day and night doing around 13-14 hours a day with one day off , they don’t get enough credit ! Shady follow your dreams boy your amazing 🤞 London , ham and cheese khalil and 3 others I don’t no there names we’re all great
The aqua park we found great for all age kids and adults lol 😂 although don’t take north face sliders or they’ll get nicked the life guard team did notify all of them to keep an eye out even looked around for us , he told me how it happens regularly!
The main pool is very deep even for adults
Food side wasn’t great , there was no kids section like we read and to live off pasta or chips the whole time wasn’t great I’m not a fussy eater and I struggled I would recommend going to the beach bar for dinner as there’s is different food each day
A massive bug of sickness and pops was going around while we was hear , although we was ok ✅
The rooms are very well need a make over when there’s mold ants cracks holes and hazards it’s not great we did get out in the family room block that has 3 beds so if u are a family of 5 u will struggle or need two rooms , we was moved from this block as the showers are on back wall and spray straight out the curtains corsing water to go everywhere and if ur past 5”11 you won’t fit under it …
We went to blocks in main part , which was more decent looking and a maid came each day to make beds … but floor wasn’t cleaned …
Main lobby bar which is small is only bar with spirts
Aqua park bar is juice and water only
Take your own cups as they will fill up as u only get small plastic cup
Would I go back ? I would but I’d rather not go all inclusive , outside the hotel was great 😊
Out in the pool or aqua or beach was amazing but inside wasn’t to great
We found staff nice and helpful
And if u small tip restaurant staff they will bring u drinks ect bar man at man pool will bring u drinks

We enjoyed our vacation in this hotel , specially during this period of time covid-19 pandemic : first the hotel was safe by forcing all the safety protocols : social distancing and hand sanitation specially in the public areas. A great variety of food choices including delicious desserts. The staff was professional and Attentive. I want to recogize a couple of names starting with the Hotel Director Mme Sonia , was great leader to her staff , as well the hygienist Mss Sonia Khemila was great with a smile all the time and went above and beyond to keep the hotel safe and resolve guests issues. As well the room attendant Fatma was great , the room was very clean and she treats very well.

This was our second visit here - first one in 2015 which we thoroughly enjoyed. Sadly, we would not return after our visit earlier this month.
Good Points
+ Emailed hotel to request adjoining rooms (2ad, 4 children) and this was granted. Rooms were dated but adequate. Beds were awful. Ants were annoying.
+ You could tell staff were trying their best and the hotel was generally clean, though toilets at reception frequently had no loo roll or soap.
+ My two youngest (4 and 6) absolutely loved the kids club and went each afternoon.
+The evening mini disco was great for the little ones too
+ Beach was lovely and waterpark great fun!
Negative Points
+ The restaurant food was bland and repetitive, especially for children.
+ Ice cream only available at lunch and dinner - bizarre flavours and frequently ran out.
+ Was often left hunting down clean cutlery and glasses at meal times
+ The behaviour of other diners in the restaurant was disgusting. Picking up food with hands, pushing into queues, putting food back after handling it etc. Plates upon plates of food that had not been touched just dumped on tables etc.
+ Some lifeguards questionable - especially in the splash park bit for wee ones! On more than one day lifeguards sat on their phones which children fought, pushed other children down slides, walked up the slides etc.

I am just back from a 2 week holiday in Venus Beach Tunisia.
There were 7 of us in total on holiday there for the very 1st time.
We had a few hiccups at the airport but once we arrived on site, most of the staff were super helpful, welcoming and amazing!
The cleaners were super attentive and most of the bar/waiting staff could not have helped us any more!
The food wasn't to our liking and most of our party had upset tummy for the duration.
We did not appreciate being hounded by reps selling us excursions at triple the price they cost if you book by yourself and did not like the onsite market as they also hounded us everytime we passed.
However..... the positives outway the negatives at this hotel and this is purely thanks to the animation team and other staff members!!!
I cannot remember all the animation teams names but Ananis, Kitty, Mario, Tokyo, Bumba, Madi, Ali baba, Chika, Brahim and those whos names escape me made our trip well worth while. They guys deserve a medal! So good with the adults but especially with the kids!!!! My daughter cried when we left them.
Another special thanks to the photographer Aziz, he is an amazing guy and makes an extra effort with everyone! Pics I could not fault! And does not push his services on you!
And last but not least Mourad the waiter !
Such a lovely young man! Again super attentive!
Without all mentioned above I may have left a different review!
I hope management see this post and give recognition where its due!

We had a fabulous summer holiday here as a family with a young teen and tween. We chose the hotel based on the positive reviews here and it didn't disappoint! We were in the pools and on the waterslides almost all day every day, with occasional visits to the private beach, which was much quieter and calmer.
Our room was air-conditioned with comfortable beds, and our cleaner came every day to make up the room and kept it spotlessly clean, despite our untidiness. The room was a bit dated in terms of the bathroom fixtures, but everything worked and the water was hot when needed.
The food in the restaurant was particularly good and tasty. My kids enjoyed the daily pizza, chips, turkey goujons, and cheesy chicken balls; my husband and I liked the variety of curries, salads, grilled meats, and French desserts. Fresh crepes, croissants and pan au chocolat were plentiful at every breakfast.
The animation team were especially friendly and outgoing, always trying to interest us in various activities. My daughter made a T-shirt with her name on it, and we enjoyed the outdoor morning yoga session several times. Salsa dancing, water polo, darts, and many other events went on throughout the day.
The heat kept us from exploring much beyond the resort, but we did take a taxi from the hotel to the nearby town of Nabeul for the Friday market, which was fun and very affordable; our taxi driver waited for us and took us back to the hotel afterwards. (However, the taxi was old and had no seatbelts in the backseat, so it felt like the 1980s.)
Overall, we had a very positive introduction to Tunisia and we'll very likely be back for another holiday in the future.

We came as a group of 21 and had an absolute blast, mainly due to the animation team. Games around the pool twice a day, fabulous shows at night and they were just so amazing with everyone, they make the hotel.
The pool area and waterpark are fantastic, the only downside is you will cut your feet to bits on rough/broken tiles so you will need pool shoes for the kids and men if playing water polo need socks.
Always plenty of beds for everyone, most people come out after breakfast about 10/11 am and got beds. If there's none left, the lifeguards will get more out is you ask.
The food was great, I recommend using the beach snack bar for lunch as it has a stunning view, it's very quiet and there's shade with a lovely breeze.
Drinks were not as strong as home, I think they're about 20% rather than our 36% as you need to drink double to get drunk.
You can only get spirits in the main bar which was an absolute pain. The beer is very nice but the wine is undrinkable. You can only get wine, beer and soft drinks at the beach, bar, pool bar and outside entertainment bar which was a huge downside for me, I got sick to death of queuing. Unfair that wine and beer drinkers get the luxury of no queues!
Room - I had room 349 first and it absolutely stank of sewage, reception moved me to a nice ground floor room within minutes. Although this had a problem with ants, again dealt with within the hour so I can't grumble.
All staff including reception, cleaners, bar and animation were the friendliest I have ever encountered in any hotel I have ever been in which really did make the holiday.
All in all, we felt the pros outweighed the cons and we did have a brilliant time.

We stayed at SplashWorld 💦 Hammamet, 🇹🇳
We had the best time. I can’t thank the friendly staff enough. 3 ⭐️ Must be upgraded to 4 ⭐️
I can’t thank Sonia and the senior management senior enough they really take the time and get to know each guest. From the cleaners and grounds maintainable to the kitchen and bar staff all of the staff were truly outstanding.
Also…. The cleanliness of the hotel inside and out can not be faulted. Clean towels everyday and cleaner daily
The private beach 🏖 was amazing as were the many slides and pools on offer, an extra special thanks must also go to the lifeguards who looked out for our children with great care and even got our beds ready once they knew where sat each morning. Fantastic personal service.
The animation team were outstanding with a drop the kids off service to have some quality mum and dad time which you don’t get with children wanting all of the attention all of time 🤣🤣
Can’t fault the food, drinks flowed and they actually have real Coca Cola and Fanta in the dispensers. Not seen that before.
I was sceptical about coming to Tunisia 🇹🇳, not because I felt unsafe because I didn’t think that North African countries didn’t welcome the Europeans well as as other countries. The jury is in about Tunisia they treated us really specially.
We stayed as a party of around 17 and everyone of us found it fabulous. I would give this hotel an 8/10 for a package holiday and would advise anyone to book TODAY.
Can I also add the staff were extra considerate around disabled and elderly guests.
The only issues I seen were caused by holiday makers, please remember to put armbands on your children before allowing them near the pools, there were a few wet life guards due to them saving children.
Also please remember to put sun tan lotion on your children.
Thank you

There were pro’s and cons to this hotel, so will try and give a balanced opinion for people wishing to book.
Pro’s
The animation team make the holiday, they work long hours and work bloody hard. They do lots of activities throughout the day, and will walk around the complex letting people know what’s about to start without being pushy. They learn the childrens name very quickly, and will make sure they speak to everyone every day. They also do the evening entertainment and the best show by far was the fire show.
Food was ok, and you could always find something to eat, even if like my son your extremely fussy. Does become repetitive quickly.
Water park was great and kept everyone entertained for hours on end, and lifeguards were friendly and helpful.
Beach is private and cordoned off to stop the local sellers coming up and pushing you to buy from them. There is security on the beach who will help you set up the sun beds, and this was the quiet so always able to get a sun bed.
Staff here were all lovely and really polite and helpful. If you tip them they will go above and beyond for you. Young guy who works for the photographer in the evening was really lovely and spent a lot of time chatting and playing pool with my son, and did not once push for us to buy pictures.
Cons
There are several reps inside the resort who will push you to buy trips/packages from them. The was quad bikes, catamarans, camels, photo packages, and Spa packages. On our first day we walked through the complex and basically targeted by each one. We did book the quad bike trip but as a previous poster has stated, be advised they will charge you extra when you arrive for face coverings, and then push for a tip on top.
Rooms were ok but dated. We had no hot water or air con when we arrived and we reported next morning. Air con was fixed straight away but took 2 days and speaking to the TUI rep to get the water sorted. Showers are low and I’m only 5”6 but I had to crouch under it to wash.
We saw 2 arguments happen between groups of English guests. One was at breakfast and became very heated very quickly and only the restaurant staff were there trying to break it up. TUI rep was sat outside in the reception but did not venture in to stop it and nor did any of the management. People were continued to be served alcohol even though they could barely stand, no security to be seen other than on the main gate or beach.
The beach after the hotel part was covered in camel and horse poo. You had to dodge it to walk to the sea, which is a shame as the beach is beautiful other than this.
Weekends are extremely busy as locals also come to the hotel. I didn’t find the locals rude but found it was extremely busy at meal times.
