Spent 11 days at Riu Marillia Hotel great hotel. Staff and management couldn't do enough for you, very friendly. Only down side not much outside hotel. So very good if you want a relaxing holiday, not so for more adventurous type. Would go back again.
Arrival. We were greeted with a cocktail on arrival which was a nice touch. Following this we went to our room, what was disappointing was that were weren't escorted to our room therefore got lost, as it wasn't clear where our room was. I would...More
Just returned from a two week break at the hotel and would certainly recommend this to anyone.

Found this to be a lovely hotel, very clean, staff helpful and friendly at all times. The only activity I participated in was Archery, found it took longer to strap on all the safety gear, and go through the demonstration every single time, than actually...More
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were friendly, polite and nice. The animation team was great as well, including fifi who remarkably remembered every persons name. The only thing I would say that was wrong is there's no internet in the...More

At roughly 42 pence to the dinar, don't expect to pay more than you would normally pay for fake goods in the likes of Spain. There are some real bargains to be had though in the local Bazaar. I got 1 ounce of real saffron for 6 dinar, he started off at 60. I stuck at 2 dinar til he came down a bit then gradually went up. It would have cost about £30 for that much at home by the way. Let them have the last price, they hate to lose face. I would say roughly about 10% of their first offer so start under and build up. I got great deals on perfume at the government shop too. I made them open up the box first to smell the perfume to make sure it was the real deal. Fendi for £35, normal price £95. Our friends, unfortunately paid way more than they should have for a fake Burberry shirt, as they weren't used to bargaining like me, but they were happy enough with what they got. Good luck and enjoy the experience.
