First time to this part of Turkey and loved this hotel. Excellent room with spectacular view of the harbour. Spotlessly clean, fabulous staff great swimming pool and shops restaurants. We will be back. Only one criticism; there are friendly dogs which roam in the night and bark like crazy - not the hotels fault and soon got used to them... More

I wanted a cheap stay in lovely Kalkan, close to the Harbour so I took a gamble on Pirat. I booked sea-view and asked for Pirat 2. I actually got the older Pirat 1 however I was on the end of the row of rooms so I got a much bigger balcony with a great view and the room felt... More

We stopped in Pirat 2 for nine nights. We booked direct with the hotel and they also arranged for the airport transfers for a good price. The whole process was painless. We had a room on a B&B basis overlooking the pool/ harbour which was what we wanted. The room was comfortable, clean if a little small. The pools and... More

With so much publicity concerning Turkey, we were slightly apprehensive. Everything went very smoothe and Kalkan is just the same as normal all bar not as busy. We were greeted like old friends by everyone, cannot remember now how many times we have stayed at the Pirat but it's as good as ever. Every September we meet the same guests... More

Just returned from our 8th visit to the Pirat in 9 years... need I say more? Situated at the bottom of cardiac hill, next to the harbour, this hotel id without a doubt the best location in town. Rooms & bathrooms are a little small, but clean and comfortable, sheets & towels changed every other day... Pool area has plenty... More

We went here every year for 5 years and absolutely love it! The staff are all so friendly, the pool area is lovely as is the bar, with lovely views. All of the front rooms have great views, some of the rooms are a bit of a walk to but that's the only fault. We have lunch there and its... More

If you are looking for a cheap and cheerful holiday day, look no further. This enchanting hotel with two premises has alot going for it. The rooms are small and dated but hopefully you will only use it to sleep (or not.) there are three pools two adult and one kids but both are allowed in either. Supervised of course.... More

We stayed at the Pirat a few years ago. Kalkan is a very oretty place. The Pirat has two buildings. The older one is alongside the harbour, and the new building is across the road. Along with the new rooms are three swimming pools, a bar and snack bar. As I had a bad back at the time we had... More
