This is the 2nd time staying in Kalkan (not at this villa) The villa was spacious although cooking facilities were basic but had everything you needed. It was very clean and the pool was brilliant. It has a nice outlook and because of the surrounding greenery you do not feel overlooked. Our party consisted of 4 adults and although the...

We have stayed in this complex everytime we've been to Kalkan, 3 times in Villa Rose & once in Villa Lemon. The villas are pretty much identical, they are very spacious albeit quite basic but hey hoe what do you need? With excellent places to eat in town we only cook toast for breakfast. They are 3 stories high with a...

Although Kalkan is a very hilly place and the villa's are at the top it is well worth the climb. once you get the reception the view is stunning looking out over the bay. The villa's are clean and well maintained and the staff are very happy to help with any issues you have. Unfortunately the owners of the villa's...

We (family of 4) were in 2 bed apartment which had (nearly) everything you could ask for. The only (minor) drawback was only the one TV channel (BBC World News) - but not on holiday to watch TV! The staff were friendly and helpful. The local Thursday market is about 5 mins walk and is a must - prepare to...

Having visited the exact two weeks in 2011, we returned in late August. As before, despite flight delays & the two hour transfer from Dalaman meaning we arrived at around 6am, Songal & her son were there to greet us. They recognised us from last time & after the short paperwork, she grabbed our daughters hand to walk us to...

There were 5 of us in Villa Xanthos for 10 days. The facilities were quite basic (e.g. Four hobs, dodgy chopping board, intermittent hot water) but this really didn't spoil the holiday. It's so hot in turkey hot water is almost irrelevant, and we asked for a BBQ at reception (as they're not built in, they're basic as with everything...

On my trip we were a large group of young adults staying in 2 villas between the 11 of us. We got along very well with the management and were very sad to say goodbye. The managers name was songul and she was pleasant but fair and polite and helpful. She was motherly towards us and made us feel at...

The villa was reasonably priced and you do get what you pay for.... However we did not expect to have a crazy turkish woman shout at us roughly 3-4 times a day. It appeared that everything we were doing was wrong or breaking another hidden rule that they seemed to set down for us each day. Admittedly we were a...

We stayed at Villa Violet in June 2013. Our villa had 3 bedrooms with its own pool and also use of communal pool. The villa itself was clean, spacious and airy. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped but no oven. Only downside was next to laundry room for complex. However, Songul and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful without...

Villa Lycian is in an ideal location, quite close to a big supermarket and banks and only a short walk into the centre of Kalkan. Our apartment was excellent, spacious and well appointed, and adjacent to a very nice pool. Everything was kept spotlessly clean and Songül and her staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Kalkan is...

“No tips on how to get a better villa. However, some things we picked up: 1) Water for the transfers is essential. 2) Eating in Kalkan is amazing &, whilst not very expensive, over two weeks every night, it adds up. We spotted that many of the shops sell small BBQ's. With the meat/fish readily available in the village, eating around the pool of the villa is definitely something we will be doing more often this year.”
