Fantastic family run boutique hotel which is a short walk from the sea front restaurants. The staff are very attentive and helpful. It was also great value and included a very substantial breakfast. Lovely gardens, lovely rooms. Going back in July. Ten out of ten.

What an amazing discovery in a great location! Very thoughtful layout and touches in every corner of this hotel made our stay very relaxing, peaceful and delightful. Classic/antique setting but at the same time offers clean and convenient rooms and services. Breakfast was one of the highlights! Very sophisticated, high quality homemade dishes with options for dietary restrictions as well....

Ayvelik is enchanting and Tas Bahce is a gem. I found the hotel to be genuinely uplifting. Its location was close to town, and close to a path that leads to the top of Cunda island. The breakfast was one of the best that I have had in hotel stays from across the world. Overall I would whole heartedly recommend...

They really made my wife and I feel welcome. The breakfasts are fantastic (lots of delicious dishes). Fast WiFi. The location is great for walking and eating. We found the room light and airy, and the layout very classic. In our days here we got to love the area more and more.

New guest house set in lush garden a hundred yards uphill from the village, making for a peaceful setting. Extensive and tasty breakfasts featured jams and pickles and local dishes all made on the premises as well as cheeses and fresh fruit. Our host was extremely helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to eat, even driving us...

We stayed 1 night on our way north and wished we could have stayed more. Located 5 minutes from the centre of the waterfront village this beautiful hotel offers comfort and peace. Friendly, helpful staff on arrival, clean warm rooms, comfortable beds and linen and a delicious breakfast served in the morning. Would happily stay again.

On our way from Canakkale to Selcuk we stopped at Cunda island just out of Avyalik. It was a spur of the moment decision and we found a tremendous haven at Tas Bache and family run boutique hotel. Matt (Mert), Zeynel and Emel were fantastic hosts and very ably supported by Belkis. They were lovely people. Matt had studied in...

This was where we started our Aegean Tour in Turkey. The hotel is lovely and owned by a very nice couple. The design of the hotel and rooms fits the aegean Turkish/Greek atmosphere. The breakfast was awesome (as already stated by multiple visitors). After some sightseeing in Ayvalik and Cunda-Islands (e.g. nice windmill on a hill with panoramic view) we...

The hotel was peacefull and clean. Staff were very polite. What makes difference at this hotel is a rich breakfast. They are serving a lot of home made things and specialities are changing for each day. Rooms are big enough and air conditioner is available. We can surely advise this cosy place to stay.

Lovely hotel in Cunda Island. It's owned and operated by a family with Bosnian descent. You can see some Bosnian delicacies at the huge and amazing breakfast. The service is great. They even brought me a pillow when I was relaxing at the hammock. Rooms are nice, simple designed in Ottoman Style. I definitely recommend it.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Taş Bahçe has two beautiful stone buildings sharing a fragrant garden in Cunda, Ayvalik. When you enter, you may think you have just traveled in time, and find refuge in the coolness of the stone building. You will love the wooden stairs that lead to the second floor, the colorful window on the staircase and the white wooden ceiling, all reminiscent of old Cunda. As you enter your room, the air will be fragrant, of soap we use to wash and clean, the calming colors of the room and restored antique furniture will welcome you, you will take a seat on your bed.
