During our stay there was a problem with the power. Every few minutes the power went off for a few minutes, this was extremely irritating. The staff was the least...

The staff was the most indifferent I have experienced, beginning with the reception clerk. The property is not well maintained - burned out light bulbs, missing shower heads, random "stuff" lying about, wi-fi inoperable. Our room was not serviced during our 3 day stay. The property has potential - adequate room size, good beds, adequate size bathroom with tub shower,...

However, as the rooms reserved for the deal were so loud, we agreed to stay in a cave room with a little (well almost double) more money. Just be aware that there are three types of rooms at this hotel and make your arrangements accordingly. Breakfast...

Great accommodations, great staff, great food and I even had a great fluffy kitty visit this crazy ole cat lady! I was very impressed that they took note our early morning balloon trip did not return in time for breakfast, and held it open until our return to ensure we got a hot breakfast. Now, that is 5 star service!...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our professional and kind staff, who can speak English, Japanese and Dutch, are ready to serve you with the respect you deserve 24/7 , and we will definitely make you feel at home. Our rooms are of great comfort and luxury and each room has a bath or jacuzzi. Since 1959, we have served customers. The hotel was first restored in 2002 and then again in the 2011. To give our rooms a traditional feel we have furnished them with local carpets and 4000 year-old ceramics and pots which reflects the hittite architecture Our hotel has a cave restaurant which is used for breakfast and dinner. After dinner the cave restaurant is somewhere to go for some great evening entertainment. We also have a nice karaoke bar where you can have alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks whilst watching a film or listening to music. In the winter, you can have hot wine which is really tasty. Our hotel has an interesting garden which is split into 3 different areas; a mansion garden, a cave garden and a terrace gardenLocationIt is just 5 minutes walk to the city centre, which is 400 metres away. The Ürgüp post office is 600 metres away and it is just 500 metres to Bankalar street. ... more   less
