We ( a family of four- , 2 children) stayed 4 nights in this wonderfull place – Elif Star Cave. Kadir, the owner (and his family - his wife, his sister and his father) is really, really helpful. He helped us arrange almost everything in Göreme, hot ballon activity, green tour, red tour day trip, shuttle from and to the...

I went to Elif Star Cave Hotel on my own. It was a spiritual, familiar and very comfortable stay. The owners wife is a Master in the kitchen. The owner is a King of Hospitality. And the children's of this two beautifull people they brought another familiar vibe into it! The price its nothing for the comfort and service you...

Elif Star Cave Hotel was great, in particular, the helpfulness of the manager, Kadir, was exceptional. He picked us up in town late at night, and was very knowledgeable about local tours and activities, which he booked for us. I can't recommend it enough!

The hotel is perfect. A genuine cave hotel utilising the site of an historic chapel, the same as you see ruined as you explore the area. It is well situated to town and at the foot of Pigeon Valley, brilliant food and service etc... Absolutely perfect. But that's not why this is a five star review. Kadir, the manager, is...

Lovely family-run cave hotel that was such an interesting place to stay. Very clean and well appointed rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Goreme is a great little town with friendly, chatty locals. There were lots of different things to do around this part of Cappadocia and the manager of Elif Star was really helpful in giving guests ideas on activities and...

The owner of the hostel is really, really nice and helpful. His wife was really sweet (though didn't speak English) and their boy was so cute and loved hanging out with travelers. The hostel is partially built into the mountain and my room was a true cave, which made for a unique experience. The beds were just fine and there...

Elif star is a very good place to stay. The owner and his family are really welcoming. Roooms are very confortable with individual bathroom. If you'd rather prefer a dormitory it's possible too. You can easily join all the activities surrounding. The ballons was one of the most beautiful experience in my life. No hesitation !

When planning our stay in Cappadocia we had wanted to stay in a cave hotel. Most options we considered were either too expensive boutique cave hotels or just slightly resembled a cave. Eventually we found Elif Star which was reasonably priced and according to the photos was the real example of what we wanted. It turned out to be a...

It was a great experience! An ideal place to stay for those who likes history and hiking. It's a real medieval monastry with its atmosphere but with (9) very comfortable rooms. The staff is extremely helpful. If you want to have a dinner you'll get a home-made food. The balloon trip arranged in Elif Star was also nice. I'm not...

Elif Star Caves Hotel is the sort of place you think maybe should be a secret to ensure there's always room for you when you want a great place to stay in the Goreme area. Kadir and his family are great hosts, always ready to help and advise. The rooms, dug into the hillside, are wonderfully furnished, clean, comfortable and...
