Thanks to Kadir and his family for a great stay! Cozy little hotel carved in a cave. Kadir the owner and his family run the place and really make you feel at home. Great location, close to everything, and Kadir can organise tours, balloon rides and pretty much everything you need. Rooms are adequate and warm for the below zero...

May 2015, me and my wife stayed at Elif Star Caves for 1 night. We took a bus ride from istanbul for 12 hours, at 7 AM we arrived at Goreme Bus Terminal. I asked to Tourist Information for Elif Star Caves Location, then he said we have to waited while he trying to contact Elif Star Caves by phone....

This is my last of 4 nights at Elif Star Hotel and it has been great! We were greeted after our overnight bus with a free cup of tea. Our double room is spacious and beautiful, but a tad cold. This is by far the nicest double room I've stayed in on my backpacking trip. The bathroom is large with...

We stayed here around early Nov’15, we came by Cappadocia by bus and reached the place ~6.30am, we didn’t have any line there, so we walked to the hotel (which is nearby the bus station). Kadir actually offered to fetch us from the bus station (we found out later he did fetch some of his guest from the bus station)....

We stayed for 2 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Positives: -Very central: walking distance from town/hiking trails. - Rooftop is stunning! Good for a nightcap or for watching the balloons at sunrise! - Owner (Kadir) is incredibly helpful and kind. He is furthermore a tour guide so he can advise you on what to do and how to...

Leaving today is so hard this place and the tours they provide are beyond exceptional. My partner and I opted for the balloon and natural & cultural wonders tour which were both sensational. It was possibly the most beautiful day ever and Kadir the host and tour guide was everything you can ask for in a host!

Before going to Kapadokya, I was hesitant about the concept of staying in a 'cave hotel' especially because I felt it might be only a touristy gimmick. But Elif Star Hotel was everything we had hoped for and more! Our room was genuinely a cave room, and was spacious and comfortable. To top it all, the view from the upper...
