We only stayed one night, but as soon as we arrived, which was really early in the morning, the staff organized city tours for us to ensure we maximized our two-day stay. They also hooked us up with a Turkish Dance evening and helped us get our refund from the cancelled balloon expedition. Breakfast is really good and varied, great...

I can only confirm what others have already said about this wonderful family-run hotel. Although it does not offer the views that other hotels in Goreme no doubt provide, it more than makes up for this with the level of hospitality. Walking through the archway into the walled garden you instantly feel relaxed and welcome. The family and staff go...

Goreme is very centrally located to see all the attractions of Cappadocia. The open air museum is right outside the town as are many of the rock formations. Hot air balloons take off from here as well. And Safran Cave hotel is right in the city. We actually walked to the above attractions. Also, most of the restaurants are within...

Before coming to Cappadocia I’ve looked through all the hotels in Goreme, and most of the hotels in Urgup available online. I’ve chosen Saran Cave based on the excited reviews of the guests and nice pictures. Now I would like to confirm myself, that it is indeed a very beautiful family-run hotel. It is located right in the downtown of...

For a really good price, we got a comfortable and adorable room for three. We had no problems with the wifi, the breakfast is great and the family that runs the place is truly friendly and helpful. They managed to give us an early check in (which was really welcome, as we had spent the night travelling by bus), without...

The courtyard here is very nice to relax in. Some of the rooms are too close to the courtyard meaning there is a fair bit of noise coming through into the rooms even with the thick walls. The hotel is in a great location close to the centre of Goreme. The staff were very friendly constantly offering tea and other...

We were disappointed with our stay at this hotel. While the rooms are lovely and clean there is no air-conditioning. It was quite hot when we visited (end of July) and the room was very stuffy and uncomfortable for sleeping. The wi-fi did not work in the rooms, only in the garden. On two occasions there was no running water....

We stayed three nights at the Safran Cave Hotel. It was a truly wonderful experience. The hosts, Dilek Hanim and Ali Bey, did everything possible to make our stay the most enjoyable. All the staff was frinedly and helpful. The breakfast was great and Dilek Hanim made us homemade borek, gozleme and omelets in addition to the standard fare. Our...
