First of all, the hotel proprietor was outstanding! He was incredibly helpful with planning our very short time there. He even had someone from the hotel drive us to a few of the activities when they were too far to walk. The Open Air Museum and "downtown" area with a lot of restaurants were right there. The hotel rooms were...

When we arrived at the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we'll actually be staying in caves, that too along with all the modern amenities (eg newly remodeled bathrooms) !! There were sofas / chairs outside and we loved sitting on them in mornings / evenings enjoying the place. Before we got there, the hotel manager Harun even...

We stayed at the Local Cave House when we visited Goreme in June 2012. I cannot speak highly enough of this lovely place. It has a very welcoming and homely ambience (extremely atmospheric) and the staff are outstanding - helpful and super-friendly. It is not high up so there are no hills to climb and it is within perfect walking...

The perfect hotel in the perfect location for exploring and experiencing Cappadocia. In close walking distance to the Open Air Museum, Goreme hiking trails, and excellent restaurants. The room was top notch, with the perfect blend of authentic, antique furnishings and clean, contemporary fixtures. The swimming pool was a welcome amenity after hot, dusty days of exploring caves and canyons....

We were delighted with this location, we travelled in May 2011 with another couple and stayed for 3 nights in separate cave rooms. Plenty of space, comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The balloons are spectacular, 40 plus all up together and at 6am we had several virtually sitting on our roof. A lovely family running things and sufficient english...

The atmosphere is wonderful--great views of the local area, and the hotel itself is a peaceful setting ideal for relaxing. The hotel is beautiful, with a swimming pool & gorgeous cosy cave rooms, & it's right in the middle of Goreme. The breakfast was generous & delicious, & the hotel is right below a popular lookout where you can sit with a bottle of wine & watch the sun set over the hills. The staff were absolutely amazing - they...
