Having spent thousands of nights in hotels, we can say with confidence that this was one of the most pleasantly memorable experiences we have had. The exquisite marriage of the authentic soul of the area with modern appointments make this a holiday we will not forget. The anticipatory service was delivered at every turn in a warm and genial manner and no element was overlooked. At every turn details such as heated floors and an in room Hamam (the blueprint for a future home renovation project) left us refreshed and relaxed.

We had a fabulous stay at Kayakapi Premium Caves! It exceeded our expectations! Location was perfect to explore all the key activities and sites of Cappadocia. The hotel itself was spectacular, situated on the side of a hill overlooking the valley. We had four rooms and each was designed uniquely with beautiful Turkish style including ones with a fireplace and personal hammam. Beds, showers and amenities were great and the staff were exceptional - kind and responsive. We enjoyed lovely meals at the restaurant, and the spa and hammam were beautiful. I strongly recommend the Ottoman massage (Turkish bath). We arranged transport and activities through the hotel, all of which were provided with a high level of professionalism, and the activities were so fun! We especially appreciated the attention to detail evident throughout the property from the cleanliness of all areas to the amenities to the decor. We are just so happy we chose Kayakapi - it was key to our fantastic Cappadocia experience! A special thank you to Nihal, who was super helpful and responsive and assisted us in setting up everything before we arrived.

Without any shred of doubt Kayakapi has to be ranked as the best hotel in the entire Cappadocia region... The location at a height offers superb views and the property itself is extremely well designed with wonderful touches in each and every nook & corner of the rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful.. the advice for tours and all the help offered in managing it, esp. by Nihal and all others, is hugely appreciated. In our travels across Europe in so many countries Cappadocia is one of its kind and a must visit place..and because of stay at Kayakapi and the snowfall which we got the trip turned out to be heavenly. Would also like to mention that the Spirit of Cappadocia tour which we did was extremely good because of Halil our guide.. we would definitely want to come back and stay for longer period at Kayakapi and any one considering a trip to Goreme, look no further and just book at Kayakapi... would love it surely..

We were at the hotel for two nights, and it provided us with a unique experience, from check-in to check-out.
The hotel has a fantastic location, at the base of a mountain, with a panoramic view of the city and its surroundings. The rooms were built out of impeccable restorations from old cave houses.
The breakfast is great, with very helpful staff.
On our last day in Cappadocia, we checked out and left our bags at the hotel until we returned from our tour to go to the airport.
The same employee who received us so well on arrival at the hotel, telling us about the history of the cave in which we would be staying, treated us indifferently, almost rudely, at the time of luggage removal, leaving us outside the hotel.
As it is winter in the extreme cold, at the beginning of the night, clearly indicating that we were no longer welcome there and he simply said to wait for the arrival of the transfer to collect the luggage.
Who saved this embarrassing situation was the employee who stored our luggage in the morning, who came promptly to deliver it to us and with all the sympathy and generosity of the world offered us a warm and sheltered place from the cold to stay until our transfer arrived.
Therefore, we had the charm of a large hotel and the disappointment of a negligible service from a poorly prepared employee.

I stayed with my family in that beautiful hotel, and I have to say that their safety measures regarding the pandanic exceeded my expectations . Sanitizers were available everywhere, everything in the room was clearly sanitized and wrapped in including the cups and glasses. In addition, my daughter forgot her shoes in the room and after we realized that, and inquired about it, they delivered it to Alanya without charging us for tthe delivery. Thank you so much for the comfortable stay and kind manners. I will definitely come back and recommend for my friends.

We had the most amazing stay at the Kayakapi Premium Caves hotel. The rooms are absolutely stunning - genuine, authentic cave houses which have been been carefully and beautifully restored and renovated into rooms. Our room was huge, with a separate lounge area with fireplace where we could relax after a busy day of sightseeing and a gorgeous bathroom with jacuzzi bath and Turkish hammam style shower area. The room was decorated with interesting artefacts and antiques which added to the feel and really showcased the unique and fascinating history of this region - it was like staying in museum. The room also had a lovely private patio area with a table and chairs with an amazing view over the town below. On our last morning we were able to watch the hot air balloons from the patio, which was a spectacular sight. On arrival in our room, were welcomed with fruit, biscotti biscuits and chocolates in the room and the room had tea and coffee facilities, including a Nespresso machine. The restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed an excellent meal there. There is also a heated outdoor swimming pool with a lovely terrace. The staff were very attentive - when we requested additional towels and toiletries, they were brought to our room within five minutes. The reception staff were so helpful, organising taxis and shuttles to take us into Urgup town centre. We visited the Red Valley to watch the sunrise and were unable to find a taxi there to take us back to our hotel afterwards. We called the hotel reception and they immediately sent a taxi to collect us. I could not fault anything at this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Magical and exceptional place, which made my holidays unforgettable! I've appreciated everything at this hotel, charming and cozy atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, unique and well maintained architecture, gorgeous - very spacious and clean room with terrace and a breathtaking view over the valley, excellent food at the restaurant, super relaxing massage ("Ottoman") at the spa, beautiful pool area, correct cost/performance ratio. Due to its amazing cave architecture, our room was additionally always perfectly climatized and noise protected. Quite unbelievable for myself was also that for the first time during a vacation in a southern country, I've encountered not a single mosquito bite at this place, neither inside nor outside! I've appreciated a lot as well, that even if there are chances to meet celebrities, guests are very down-to-earth and there is no any issue if you prefer to just be casually dressed. Besides that, there is a lot you can do in the surroundings, like a balloon ride, amazing trips to breathtaking canyons and landscapes or cute smaller cities. For sure I will come back and for sure I will recommend this hotel to my friends!

I stayed at Kayakapi for 3 nights in total, two in their Glorious Cave Suite, and one in their Majestic Cave Suite. Truly, there is no better way to describe this cave hotel other than completely magical. It feels like a paradise away from the busyness of Göreme. Perched atop a small mountain, you can view the valley below while eating lunch/dinner from their excellent restaurant.
Nihal and Duygu, two of the hosts with whom I planned my stay, were by far such gracious hosts. I felt so at home at Kayakapi. Fruits and wines were sent to our room during our stay, and every detail from the food to finishing touches in the room were thoughtfully provided. The rooms themselves had great air conditioning, and they were cleaned thoroughly. My own critique of this cave hotel is that the Wi-Fi situation was really spotty. If I didn't have a Turkish SIM card, I would not have been able to access the internet at all on my phone, and on my laptop, the Wi-Fi was spotty at best.
However, it just made for enjoying Cappadocia and the overall experience that much better. I would definitely recommend Kayakapi to anyone looking for a memorable cave experience!

We stayed at Kayakapi Premium Caves based on the strong recommendation of a friend and we thanked her profusely after our stay. The rooms are actually caves carved into the mountain and had previously been residences. We had no idea how luxurious our cave room would be and we couldn't stop saying "Wow, this is amazing!" when we arrived. Our cave had a huge private terrace with a wonderful view of the city below, a large living room, small sitting room, large bedroom, and bathroom. At the same time this was unmistakably a cave home. The cave next door was not renovated and it was interesting to take a little self-tour of it.
The main restaurant has a wonderful, cozy cave atmosphere, excellent food, and efficient, friendly service. Breakfast includes a plethora of items - pastries, cheeses, fruits, meats, and custom made eggs and turkish specialties. Also highly recommend a night at Rivithia, the fine dining restaurant recently opened. They specialize in traditional local dishes with a modern twist and everything is locally sourced. We had a great time - food was wonderful, wine pairings were great (all local), and we enjoyed the banter with our waiter and meeting the chef.
I had actually sent them a note trying to plan a trip during covid , they were very responsive although closed at the time, and recommended our excellent guide (Edip, Pupa Travel).
We would enthusiastically recommend a stay at Kayakapi!

We recently stayed at Kayakapi Premium Caves with our two kids. We were picked up from the airport by Kayakapi, what a wonderful customer service, not only we felt safe also cared for. The minute we stepped into the hotel we were amazed by the architecture and how the original caves turned into amazing dreamy rooms. There is a great history for each room and hotel staff is proud to share their stories. Each room is different, they have their own character. Kayakapi has a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner options both indoor also by the pool. Even though breakfast was open buffet, Covid guidelines implemented beautifully without making us feel uncomfortable. All staff wear mask all the time. Breakfast and dinner options are plenty, tasty and delicious. Kayakapi has a gym and spa, definitely make an appointment, it is worth it!
We also worked with Kayakapi’s tour guide, thank you so much again to Melike, for being a such a great host. She had a deep knowledge about Capadocia, its history and culture.
Pool area is spacious and beautiful , over looking to Goreme, amazing view from the top, you can have your lunch, snack or dinner at pool side, definitely recommend it!
I cannot recommend Kayakapi enough. if we ever go back, Kayakapi will be our one and only choice. Thank you so much for wonderful experience Kayakapi Premium Caves.

There are lots of tourists so probably people are used to a relaxed dress code. There maybe lots of families in the hotel so I recommend something fit for that crowd and nothing too revealing, especially if you are going in the summer and will be spending time by the pool. Pool attire is of course ok. If you’re going to do some sightseeing, which you should, then bing a pair of comfortable walking shoes. Ask the hotel for a tour program, they are very helpful. They can get you a private tour guide and they will take you in a private car to the best places. We did a 1 day private tour and that covered 80% of the highlights. Hotel helped us get a taxi for the day on the next day and we just visited the remaining 4-5 significant places that way. The balloon rides are quite popular but we chickened out. If I were going to do the balloons, I would ask the hotel again as they seem to be working with reputable companies only. There’s wine tasting nearby (15-20 min walk) and bunch of other restaurants (if you get bored of eating at the hotel - but the hotel food is pretty good). They can give you a lift with one of the gulf carts at the hotel as well to the wine tasting place. You can also try to rent a car if you want to save some money but I sometimes they don’t have any cars or don’t even respond to emails. I would suggest going with the hotel tours. The private tour guide in the hotel (if you get it) will also tell you any other interesting places that may not covered in your personal tour. Summers are hot and dry so t-shirts and shorts and the norm. Winters are cold and usually snowy so winter clothing is needed. I would definitely suggest the underground cities (there are several), Avanos for pottery making where you can get custom made pots and have a pottery class, etc, Ihlara valley if you have some extra time. Hope this helps. Oh, and enjoy the scenery from the hotel.
