My wife and i stayed for 2 nights in May. As frequent business and personal travelers we seek out interesting and unique places that help us connect with the local area and escape the generic tourist crowds. We could not have been happier at Aravan Evi. From the moment we were met at the airport to the moment we left,...

We stayed here for two nights and had a fantastic time. Okan and his family treated us wonderfully. His Mom made the most amazing meals with so much delicious food. The courses just kept coming and coming. Everything was delicious. Okan also helped us arrange everything for our stay in this magical area, including a personal tour, hunt for carpets,...

I think I first learned about Aravan Evi from NYTimes.com while doing research on places to stay in Cappadocia, and I remember being surprised to find out that the restaurant had a few guestrooms on-site. I contacted the owners' son, Okan, through their Web site and corresponded with him on and off for four months. People say that the Turks...

Our first two nights in Turkey on a three week trip were spent here: Aravan Evi was a perfect entry point to Turkey and it's people. Wonderful and peaceful village setting, excellent and relaxed home cooked meals, fine hosts who couldn't have been more helpful. If you want to really feel Turkey, yet be able to access all the tourist...

Aravan Evi was the most memorable accommodation of the entire time in Turkey. I felt like we discovered a wonderful secret. I'm so glad we stayed here rather than a cave hotel in a bigger village. Ending our day at Aravan Evi was a welcome respite after spending most of our day surrounded by tour groups. Our room had the...

It's absolutely worth staying, although it takes 20 minutes from the center of Cappadocia. it is not a fantastic resort hotel, but it's a cozy gem. Okan works his best for my pleasant stay. He arranged all of the tuors perfectly for me. I really enjoyed talking with this young man after the tuors. it was my most heart warming...

We also decided on this boutique hotel based on the great reviews on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. This is a charming little place in a quiet village. Our room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated with a large marble bathroom. I also can't say enough about how helpful Okan was in planning our 3 day stay in Cappadocia....

Okan and his family took care of us extremely well. In terms of organising for tours, stay and activities. I recommend this to all who love culture tourism in a village setting. The room was just fabulous and the food was authentic Anatolian (province of Turkey). Wife and I were vegetarians and Okan took special care to serve us just...

Aravan Evi exceeded our expectations, which were pretty high due to all the previous great reviews I had read. Okan and his family have one goal: to make your stay as pleasant and authentic as possible. Nothing was too much to ask of them; beginning with the ease of booking months earlier. The rental car was delivered to our door....
