The owners were awesome. Rooms were clean, couple of minutes to the beaches, complementary Turkish breakfast including eggs, sucuk, cheese, tomatoes, olives etc... And, pet friendly. We had a great time there.

The Maro is fairly typical of a two-star hotel in terms of its facilities, ie 20-ish rooms with on-suite bathrooms, hot water, "split" air-conditioner, TV etc. The facilities were well-maintained and the rooms were clean. The colour scheme of the hotel is predominantly pink.
Breakfast is typically Turkish, ie eggs, olives, cheese, bread, salad, tea and instant coffee if you really want it. If you are early enough you can eat breakfast in the front garden of the hotel, but there isn't enough space for everyone if the hotel is full.

The best things were the views from the shaded top-floor terrace, proximity to the beach, and the location at the very pleasant northern end of the quayside.
The beach itself has a hotel/cafe playing music of the "thump-thump-thump" variety. However, this could not be heard from...
