We stayed two nights (family of 5 including 3 teenagers)in Tan Pensione, one night before and one night following a sailing holiday in Fethiye region. We loved this place, the owner and host Me Ozer was so helpful (storing a bag, recommending restaurants, a great beach to go to, and he helped to organize a taxi to airport for us.)
We loved the terrace and the possibility to
self cater(there is a big roomy kitchen area). Plenty of supermarkets close by as well as the marina. The old town with restaurants etc is a few minutes away by foot. Rooms were basic but airy and comfortable with good aircon. I would definitely stay here again!

Had a really nice stay here. Brilliant location, lovely owners who communicate via Google translate (which works surprisingly well!), and a really nice view.
Some minor issues with the room hence 4 stars but generally great value for money and very clean.

One of the best things about this place is the beautiful view from the terrace; you can see out across the bay to the mountains in the distance. We had breakfast (5 TL per person - a real bargain - especially considering the very tasty olives from the owner's own farm!) on the terrace every morning, and it was hard to tear ourselves away and actually DO things...
The owners are a very friendly couple; we were invited in for coffee (Turkish, obviously) on more than one occasion. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The rooms were small but clean, with bathrooms and aircon, and - best of all - quiet! There are only 9 rooms available, so you're unlikely to suffer from crowds of rowdy backpackers.
Finally, it's very close to the centre of town, and it's one of the cheapest places in Fethiye. It's not easy to find budget accommodation in Fethiye - in fact, this is almost the only option, and certainly the nicest budget option - but 50 TL for a double room is excellent value (OK, it was out of season, but still).

Mr Özer's Tan Pansiyon made the perfect base for our time in Fethiye. His warm hospitality, accommodating nature and comfortable residence (...not to mention the delicious Turkish coffee, pots of çay and great breakfast with local produce from his village!) felt like a real home from home; a welcome feeling after 3 weeks of travelling around Turkey.
Besides the wonderful hospitality, Tan Pansiyon's biggest draw card is the outstanding communal covered balcony with its views over Fethiye's marina and onto the bay. The expansive terrace with its exceptionally fast and reliable WiFi (a rarity in the majority of the guesthouses that we stayed in over our trip) and access to a fully equipped kitchen gave us a great place from which to base our trips around the area.
The room was great; clean, comfortable and with all the basics covered. The location was perfect, with plenty of tourism agencies within a minute's walk, the restaurants along from the marina at a 5 minute walk away and the central areas of Fethiye (seafood bazaar, market streets, fresh fish restaurants etc.) at a leisurely 10 minute walk away.

It was a warm and welcoming small hotel with only 9 rooms. You can easliy acess to the city center and the port. The breakfast was ok. The room was clean and with ac. The owner of the hotel was very kind and helpful. We just stayed there for one night. If you want to spend most of your day on tours and sightseeing, this hotel is just for you. After a tiring day, you can have a nice sleep and rest. The only negative thing is the parking lot. If you have a car, you need to park in the neighborhood.

Good value for money. The hosts are cute and do their best to make you feel welcomed. The room was tiny, but enough if you're staying just 1-2 days. The showers were quite noisy, and that's a problem at night. Otherwise, there is an amazing view from the terrace that makes it all worth it.

Just As we approached the hill up to Tan Pansiyon, we passed a wonderful bakery, it's window filled with Turkish pastries sweet and savoury. Özer's friendly face asked us if we required accommodation and when we asked him where the Tan Pansiyon was, his eyes lit up with a smile and he proceeded to lead us there personally, offering to take out luggage and explaining how it was his son, Kursad, who had made our booking.
We were given a terrace room, quiet and private with stunning 180 degree views of Fethiye marina. We unpacked and showered and were naturally drawn out onto the terrace for a relax and email check using the free wifi connection. Özer discreetly slid a small plate of cold sliced watermelon onto the table and left... It was so refreshing. As if that wasn't enough, he returned a few minutes later with a tea tray and biscuits.
Million dollar views, natural cool breezes, good old-fashioned Turkish hospitality and very reasonable rates make Tan Pansiyon the best choice in Fethiye. In fact it's one of the best places I've stayed in Turkey, making it very difficult to leave.

We have stayed several times in Fethiye at various hotels and "Pansions", but this time the shuttlebus-driver (KamilKoc) took us to Tan Pansiyon and said the price for B&B was 50 TL.
We got a standard room downstairs with toilet & shower. The owner spoke english and was both helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was at the top terrace with a fine view of the Ece Marina and Fethiye Bay. Some rooms was also located beside the top terrace. Breakfast typical turkish, but we got coffe and SOFT-boiled egg. (Normally in Turkey the eggs are mostly hardboiled and green inside....
The location is excellent, small supermarket 25 meters away - local bus stop 30 meters away and 10 minutes walk to old roman theater and town center.

I had a really lovely time at Tan Pansiyon. It was spacious, clean and comfortable and the terrace brought a ray of sunshine to my days (literally!) I really think it's the best bang for your buck. I also enjoyed my morning pot of tea overlooking the city. It's also quiet, so was easy to get some work done on the terrace. And importantly, the family was friendly and accommodating.
