I've been twice to Huzur Vadisi (which means Peaceful Valley). It's my favourite yoga retreat centre by a long way. Here you truly are deep in Nature in a peaceful valley, where the only sounds are from goat bells, pine trees rustling, insects buzzing lazily around, and cicadas by day. At night just the call of the sentinel bird. The...

My third visit. On yoga retreat with Catherine Annis. Yurt clean, comfortable and spacious. Showers hot and with amazing views. The pool is fabulous and the seated cushion areas provide shade in the heat and a place to gather in the evenings. Communal meals under the vines. Tea and coffee available all day. Great home made vegetarian food. Friendly and...

I stayed at Huzur for a week during Catherine Annis's yoga retreat. First off, the quality of the yoga was superb and catered to all levels. I prefer more dynamic yoga, at least in the mornings, and Catherine's classes ticked that box for me. The setting for the yoga was magical. We had butterflies and dragonflies floating in and out...

Spent a week at Huzur Vadisi on a yoga retreat last month. The property is basic but comfortable and the location beautiful. I instantly loved it. The energy and feel of the place is difficult to explain, but it totally makes up for any discomfort. Bathrooms/showers are shared (everything is kept very clean) and there is a short walk from...

Huzur Vadisi, enchanting location hidden in the hills removed from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Everything about the place was gorgeous - from the painted furniture to the canvas yurts, the relaxing pool and the grassy paths. The attention to detail was beautiful - even in the washrooms! The food was fresh, wholesome and grown locally! The staff...

I have had three fabulous visits to this stunning location up in the hills above the pretty marina of Gocek. The place is unique, the food is divine, the surroundings stunning and a beautiful yoga studio to deliver classes. The Shala is fully equipped with all that a teacher could ever need. The staff and hospitality are magical and the...

Having just experience a wet cold week in Turkey you would think I was about to be very negative. Not at all, as I have experience the bliss of staying at Huzur Vadisi, some 2000 ft above Gocek, my home a yurt in an olive grove. Yes, a little walk over to the bathroom and shower, but what a view...

I loved my holiday here. It was very relaxing - good food, lovely setting, enjoyable yoga and lovely pool. Definitely felt like a home from home. I'd recommend this if you want to completely unwind and not stray too far from base. I wished I'd booked another week in Suleyman's Garden to top it off! It's about a 20 min...

A little gem up in the mountains above Gocek, Huzur Vadisi is an idyllic place. We slept in yurts nestled in an olive grove and ate the most beautiful homemade vegetarian food. It was extremely comfortable and very relaxing and was built, and is run, with sustainable principles way up high on the priority list. The icing on the cake...

Huzur Vadisi is magical. For the last 5 years in a row, I've been joining Catherine Annis's yoga retreat in September at Huzur Vadisi. Sleeping in a luxurious comfortable spacious traditional nomadic yurt, from which you can roll back the roof to view the night stars, practicing yoga in a beautiful outdoor shala, swimming in a natural stone pool and...
