The place was full but the 'manager' told us he would help us get accommodation elsewhere. He walked with us next door which was full and then to Green Valley Backpackers/Guesthouse. Said he was curious to see it even though it was 20 mins walk away! We arrived and after reducing the rate from a crazy price to 60,000 with...

Dear sgesge, thank you for your review. I'd like to first of all say that the person you might have interacted with was definitely not the Manager of Entebbe Backpackers ( glad you put that in quotes) and that he completely acted on his own in asking for any sort of commisssion for walking with you. I'm not certain which...

The location is very good. From there you can reach very easy the swimming pools, the lake and the center of the village. The rooms are good, clean and for all the money you have: they have also some tents in the yards if you want to save money. The yard is very nice, with palm trees and a lot of various and colored flowers.A lot...

I stayed at Entebbe backpackers for 4 nights in total in my stay. The rooms and facilities are basic as you would expect for the price. The wifi is a little on and off and the showers always cold. But the staff really make this place fantastic - willing to help with anything, always smiling and friendly - especially Hannan...

We stayed here for a night when arriving in Uganda. Colin picked us up from the airport and helped us unload our bags to the room. The location was ideal for finding shops and restaurants in the area such as the Victoria mall. Hearing the birds and monkeys were a great way to start our trip.

I always start my travels to uganda at Frank's backpackers, to acclimate a bit before i start my trip. It;s a budget place, so you don't have to expect a luxury stay. But what you can expect are very kind people, a garden which you only can fall in love with, a pretty cheap possibilty to get you picked at...

This is basic accommodation with no frills; but does the job. Entebbe Backpackers is ideal for the budget traveller passing through Entebbe as it's much cheaper than most, if not all, other options in town.

We ended up staying here for 10 days due to some medical issues but were very happy with our stay. Affordable clean accommodation. Not fancy but very comfortable and homely. Impressed by the menu they offer which provides really nice fresh food including some healthy options. The staff were great. Very friendly and helpful and willing to help. There are...

An excellent and convenient stopover location. Reasonable price, giving basic but adequate rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Best option around for the price. I would stay again in a heartbeat, knowing I was safe and not likely to have any problems with overcharging.

The only real budget place we found in Entebbe. They offer cheap pick ups from the airport. A big difference between the rooms, rooms with bath rooms are a lot better, but overall the place is a suffering bad maintenance (cracks in the wall, we never had any hot water, wifi not working, mosquito nets broken, restaurant closes early, rooms...

This is ok basic accommodation for an airport stopover for backpackers. We stayed in the triple room which was not so pretty to look at but had everything we needed and did the job adequately. The price was very cheap so definitely worth it. Not sure what the dorms are like. We also arranged airport pick up through them which...
