This mock safari lodge is a short taxi ride from Entebbe airport. It is reassuringly close to a large UN base but has a charm and tranquility of it's own. I stayed with a group from my school in one of the lodges. The room was basic but adequate, there was plenty of hot water and very quiet. The courtyard...

Camp Entebbe was far too expensive (120,000 for a double, 100,000 for a single!) for what it offered: a dirty, uncomfortable environment with rude management. The rooms my group stayed in featured a hole in the bathroom ceiling (we were terrified the bats we could hear flying around in the rafters would come into our room), an outlet hole with...

Right by the airport fence, this motel off the airport road is a reasonable option for a night. Room was clean, spacious, if not spotless, clean enough and bed comfortable. Heard little noise, and didn't try the food, but well placed near a few restaurants. Could do a lot worse than this in Entebbe for the same money.

Camp Entebbe is quite a pretty little enclosure with small tukul style rooms. The room seemed pretty clean although that typical dim depressing energy saving lighting so was not very pleasant to spend time in. The bed was fine - don't expect a spring mattress but it does have a mosquito net, unfortunately the pillow was way to huge for...

Bedrooms are clean. Bathrooms contain a shower which can be an off on experience but Ok when it works. If it doesn't then the staff will bring you...

We know, its a backpacker. The place is loud an small. The staff is unprofessionel and some of them unfriendly. The price is cheap (the facilites as well). The food is poor! But there is free WIFI (whats very cool)! Okay for 1 night!

Tucked away close to airport, but not too noisy. Out of town a little, but cheap and clean. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was adequate and a new kitchen was being installed whilst we were there with a view to catering for guests in the evening. There is a restaurant a short walk away serving a wide...
