This hotel is considered to be very posh by the locals, and it seems so as as well, as the entrance hall and restaurant are dressed in gold and draped with velvet. However, the rooms are very sad, with small uncomfortable beds and cheep linen, lumpy pillows and distasteful functional furniture. Everything in this hotel is in urgent need of...

Lovely hotel in Simferopol. Good location, spacious and clean rooms (with airconditioning), as well as a very welcoming restaurant. Simferopol is a great start for exploring the Crimea. Being a non-russian speaker finding your way around is nevertheless quite challenging. The lovely staff at the Ukraina hotel reception however were very helpfull and made our stay unforgettable. Exceptional hospitality.

Convenient for the City Centre and about a mile I would say from the Railway Station. The hotel is of good quality and the room was clean. Excellent Air Conditioning..and it was really needed! Let us book in three hours early. Good breakfast, although I suspect like most West Europeans, we find it strange to have Chicken Broth on the...

The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean and spacious. Breakfast includes wonderful, fresh cucumber and tomato and a nice variety of different foods. It seems like a well run, full service establishment.

Be careful when you book your room. Bait and switch! I paid a premium to book a "Business Double", and got a room (212) with 2 single beds pushed together.....You can't sleep in the middle because you'll fall between the 2 single mattresses....so, in my "Business Double" room, after paying a premium, I ended up sleeping on one small single...

Having had our original stay at the Ukraine Hotel snowed off, a week previously we eventually arrived at the train station in Simerferopol. The hotel is about a 15 - 20 minute walk, so probably better to get a marshrutka or bus if there is one heading to the centre. Once we arrived, the receptionist spoke perfect English and was...

In this hotel I lived two nights. I was arriving in the hotel late night, but young woman-receptionist was not sleeping and fresh. The accommodation was very fast - she wrote the paper itself, I got the key and got a room that was not large and clear - TV, refrigerator, closet, bed, etc. Breakfast (swedish table) - diversified. At...

The staff at this hotel are extremely polished. The hotel is run as hotels should be...nothing is too much trouble. This is all the more welcome if, like me, you are a tourist who cannot even read the cyrillic road signs! You know the staff here will sort everything out. The location is superb...near plenty of restaurants. The foyer is...
