Staeyed in a lower one bedroom unit for a wedding on the beach nearby. Very quiet maybe because I was there in september. Lots of rules governing eating at the pool and parking. Tends to skew to the older set. Overall, this place is a great value if you are looking for a quiet place to rest. The beach access... More

Ocean Dunes is a co-op with many owners willing to rent their individual properties for part of the year. It is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the wonderfully private beach and huge pool. Each unit has a kitchen, living area, bedroom, and deck/patio to enjoy the ocean breezes. The property is surrounded by Nature Conservancy property which increases the privacy of... More

This place is old and not kept up at all. We rented a duplex and could not even open the top level door which I believe is a fire hazard. There is NO AC, not one amenity at all. The beach access is a hike thru deer infested dunes. So many other options in the area, do not be fooled... More

The booking has been easy. The staff seems to be on top of it. Will complete this review after my trip in September. But I am impressed with the process so far. Stay tuned. I am not someone that always needs air conditioning so that may enhance my stay.

Ideal location in the Hamptons: right on the beach, tucked in behind the sand dunes. The accommodations are a little bit of a mixed bag (mostly not recently renovated), but it's very comfortable - nice to have your own kitchen, living room, etc. Our kids also enjoy the swimming pool. And you can walk to the "Lunch" restaurant for fabulous... More

My family of four - includes two teenage daughter stayed here in June. I agonized over where to stay and was pleasantly surprised how great this place was. It did seem to skew a little elderly but the property was beautiful and we weren't looking for a wild time. We used this as our base and wanted some beach time.... More

We booked the Ocean Dunes because my husband was running the Hamptons Half Marathon and the shuttle buses left from Atlantic Beach right next door. We were given room 209, which had a lovely chic beach bungalow vibe - however, next time I book I will ask for a room on the western side of the hotel because the balconies... More

From the moment Tina greeted us we knew it was going to be a great experience. She's so personable and knowledgeable. Great location - right on the beach. Our unit was updates, clean and had everything we needed. The location is close to restaurants and bars as well as the local grocery store and farmers' market. We LOVED it!

A quirky property that is not for everyone. But, if you are looking for proximity to a gorgeous, private stretch of beach with convenient access to charming Amagansett, consider Ocean Dunes. The resort is a 1950's motel converted into condos. The facility is tired and the one-bedroom unit we stayed in was shabby; not for the design aficionado or couple... More

The people who rent out these places are extremely rude, as well as the management (regardless of the receptionist). They take there rules way too seriously, like someone else had mentioned in a previous review. The rooms are run-down, felt like something from the 80's. No air conditioning. I did not feel welcomed at this resort. You're better off renting... More
