Beautiful hotel great location slightly spoilt by yet again poor South American service. Expensive so you expect good service , the food is poor I get the impression that they are relying heavily on their past reputation. There are lots of nice restaurants and winery’s nearby so it is slightly galling that every time you leave the hotel in a taxi they organize its $20 each way, organize your own it’s half the price. Could be world class with just a bit more attention to detail and customer service

We had dinner there expecting delicious gourmet dishes for (they cost 30 dollars each), but got poorly cooked, average home dishes. We ordered chocolate marquise for dessert but got some kind of thick chocolate mousse that dind’t taste good. The decoration was nice but it isn’t worth the ride nor the cost.

I really love the lobby/library/restaurant room. Fire places, leather couches, game tables, books in a marvelous “living room” feel. The rooms are like separate apartments. Nice views of the river. This place is off the beaten path. The owner also has a winery in site, so the dinner wines are theirs. I enjoyed them. I like this style of Inn. I was satisfied with the service, but also know that no one is in a hurry. There is a restaurant on site with a board.

This hotel is living on its reputation. In an excellent location with a great pool but is spoilt by average over priced food and staff who for the most part seemed disinterested whilst using their mobiles. Suggest looking elsewhere if you can, breakfast was poor and full of sweet pastries and all for ease rather than quality. Beer and wine selection limited.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 days. Our room was located on a beautiful park. It was spacious, very nicely decorated in a countryside style and had a wonderful view of the river (the Río de la Plata). The main hall was very cozy and “chic”, except for a big, tacky pink dinosaur statue that dominated the scene. The breakfast and meals were very good and the staff extremely helpful and courteous. The surrounding area is beautiful, with lots of native vegetation and birds, a real paradise for nature lovers. If you enjoy peace and quiet, this is a place for you.
