We spend three nights here in October 2016. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a glazed veranda looking out over the beautiful gardens and lemon groves. Food was superb and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent value and an unforgettable experience.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Casa de los Limoneros. The main house and gardens are well-maintained and the whole concept was well-planned and thought out. It was rainy and cold most of our stay and the fireplace was kept burning the whole time, a wonderful setting really.

Just got back from an incredible weekend staying at Casa de los Limoneros. The owner Mario picked us up at the ferry port and drove us to the hotel, about 10 minutes outside the old town. The hotel was designed with every detail in mind and has been decorated with great taste. The rooms, while simple, are comfortable and filled... More

Sergio and Mario have created a great place to stay while in Colonia. It is hard to believe that the building is only 14 years old. We stayed for 3 nights which included New Year's Day. You have to have Mario or Sergio tell you about the building and how they designed and furnished it - Amazing! They served us... More

It´s a great place outside the city. The house is really quiet and people there is too kind. I think that it has 2 things to improve, one is the bikes because they didn´t work when we were there and I think they have to add a high tea or something like that for the afternoon because they don´t have... Wonderful, charming place just outside of Colonia del Sacramento. Lovely gardens surrounded by hectares of lemon trees, beautiful to walk around, or just to sit down in the grass or under a tree. Great, large pool. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Food prepared with vegetables from their own garden or locally produced. Hosts Mario and Sergio (and staff) are... More

This place is divine and I'm already planning a return trip. Hosts Mario and Sergei ensure every detail is perfect. Wonderful rooms, beautiful scenery, smell of lemons in the air. I was there for a conference, which took place in a building on the grounds ideally suited to this purpose. Excellent!

Best Paella I've ever tasted. Cracking breakfast ! Bonus cocktail with dinner - delicious. Lovely people and dear wee dogs. Very sweet room - colonial-type - intimate surroundings. Gorgeous grounds and pool, very tranquil.

We loved this place. Not that easy to find, but once there the rooms are enchanting. We were alone and not sure how nice it woudl be to share with others as living room is not that big. But each bedroom has a small terrace in front where you can sit although your neighbour woudl hear everything you said. Rooms... More

The house of the Lemon Trees is a dreamed place. A place that has a special energy that inspires you from the moment you get in. The house as such is beautiful, the decoration just perfect, the garden, the trees, the flowers and the landscape amazing. Sergio and Mario (the owners) and the crew, are there to spoil you. You...
