We stayed in several good 4 and 5 star hotels during our holiday in Vietnam but this was our favourite by some margin. With just 6 rooms in this heritage property and with friendly staff you soon feel like part of the family - particularly if you stay 5 nights as we did. Breakfast was excellent - the banana pancakes...

We stayed in 3 hotels in Danang - a 5* chain, a 4* beach resort and this hotel. For me, this was my favourite. It really was an experience (in a good way!) to stay here. This place is full of character and in a fantastic location in the centre of the Old Town and 2 minutes walk from the...

This is quite unlike any hotel you will have stayed in. A restored 200 year old wooden merchant's house it just exudes history. It was used as one of the sets in the Philip Noyce film of Graham Greene's The Quiet American starring Micheal Caine. Staying here you can easily feel transported back in time, with its creaking wooden floors...

This is the place to stay if you want a special experience in Hoi An, would have given 6 stars if I could. As others have described it's an old merchant's house beautifully converted with just six rooms, these houses are similar in layout with a street frontage, an inner open courtyard and rooms at the back. There are two...

Sweet little hotel in the heart of Hoi An. It may first seem very loud but it quiets down for the night. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast was very tasty. They gave us a free foot massage too. Lovely hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay here, you're right in the heart of the town in beautiful Hoi An. Staff were really helpful with suggestions of things to do, restaurants and tailors, and our airport pick up was well organised. It's by no means cheap by Vietnamese standards, but you are staying in a beautifully preserved unesco standard building. There's a large...

Right by the Japanese Bridge, just around the corner from owning Glory Restaurant, this tiny (6 room) hotel is an antique gem. Michael Caine reportedly stayed here while filming "the Quiet American" . The building is more than 200 years old; the rooms are spacious and although the architecture on the ground floor makes those rooms a bit noisy, the...

a very different place, not the normal modern hotel, not the typical boutique hotel. Just a place you will rarely find again. Hoian is a very unique place and if you want to have a complete experience , the hotel is definitely part of it and you should try it. A typical merchand house . Very little structural changes ....

We had a lovely time at Vinh Hung - the only drawback was that the ground floor room was very dark because the lack of glass in the windows meant that keeping out mosquitos and prying eyes required keeping the shutters closed.

I booked for twin bed room for 3 nights in this center, a bit expensive but valued for money. I love all the thing in Hoi An and will never forget this atmostphere, from the center to the Cua Dai beach about 4, 5 km and you can go by taxi, BIKE..., lots of tailors in the center of Hoi...
