The Ha An was a perfect place to be based, just outside of the old town and walking distance to everything. It was also a very relaxing hotel to come back to after walking or riding all day in the the heat. I found the staff exceptionally professional, the rooms clean and peaceful, and the attention to detail amazing, especially...

I have read a few other reviews before I write this... and yes, of course... agree with a couple of comments... one staff member seemed tired, some of the brekky sometimes not so fresh (elements of)... but I do believe that we have such huge expectations for our 'turn' somewhere... that I will give this hotel such a glowing review......

My friend and I stayed at the Ha An Hotel for 2 nights on July 11-13, and I was pleasantly surprised at how great the place was. We had recently stayed at the Hanoi Elegance Diamond hotel, which is in a complete class of its own (see my other review), so we had been spoiled already. The Ha An, however,...

We loved the Ha An! The hotel is clean, large and has a great bathroom. Only thing to be cautious about are the Mosquitoes in the room. The hotel is located in a beautiful garden and they like to air out the room, allowing mosquitoes to enter the room. Use bug spray at night and you'll be fine. Thao, across...

We stayed for 2 nights at Ha An as part of a group of 10. The staff are thoroughly professional and provide outstanding service which begins as soon as you arrive with welcome drinks, a refresher towel and a fruit platter. Every single member of staff, from reception, cleaning, restaurant and maintenance are first rate. The hotel is set around...

This was our third stay at The Ha An Hotel and while our experience was positive overall, it seems that some things have slipped over the last two years: * Very few of the staff seem to enjoy their jobs these days which is a shame considering how warm and happy they all were on previous visits. * The hotel...

We stayed here for 4 nights. On arrival we were told we had been upgraded. The room was absolutely gorgeous! The service was very good and we loved the free bike hire. So handy and fun to zoom around Hoi An on the bikes. The breakfast had a large variety, but it didnt seem to be fresh every day (baked...

We stayed at this hotel in 2008 as a splurge, and came back again after our other hotel stank of mildew. This place is definitely worth the extra money. The staff is extremely helpful and the breakfast buffet is so large it's a little intimidating. Quiet, yet central location. If they had a swimming pool it would be perfect.

This hotel was a gorgeous French style building, with the décor being very tropical, with petals all over the bed and bathroom, fruits, and decorations. There is a separate beautiful restaurant where you could eat inside or outside. The driver who picked us up was really lovely, and he gave us a bottle of water and cold towels. Exactly what...

“Choose a room with a balcony looking out onto the garden or the pool. It's possible that all rooms do!”

“Our room 205 was very nicely appointed with a big and comfortable bed and a nice bathroom and shower. Furniture is slightly worn , but functioning, and adds to the retro charm of this hotel. There is also a veranda. The street in front of the hotel is quite busy and there is some traffic noise. Rooms further back from the road would probably be quieter. ”
