The hotel is in a great position. Some of the rooms come with doors that don't close and a mouldy smell. The balcony was nice. The restaurant is adequate for breakfast but simply terrible for other meals - if you like your pizza to be rock hard and want to try one of the worst meals in Vietnam then this... More

THE HOTEL ALTHOUGH IN A BEAUTIFUL SITUATION ON THE RIVER AT HOI AN DID NOT LIVE UP TO EXPECTATIONS. The room a deluxe superior did not live up to the web-site blurb. There was no wireless in the rooms, the beds were very uncomfortable and one bed was a child's bed when requesting three single beds, there were rats in... More

This is the second time we have stayed here ....the first time we booked a bungalow and loved it, this time we got an executive deluxe and it wasn't as enjoyable. Stayed in a Japanese suite, lovely size. Restaurant provided breakfast. Overpriced dinner and not too wonderful after tasting the local fair.

We have stayed at the Pho Hoi Resort on 2 occasions now, once in 2010 and again in 2011. The location is really what makes this place, it is a small resort with a range of accomodation styles available. On both occasions, we have had bungalows, which afford a measure of privacy and are less noisy. Travel in Vietnam is... More

Just across the bridge (30 meters approx) from the hustle of the markets, the pho hoi is in a great location on the river front. An easy walk to the old town... The place to go for great food and shopping! A good size room, with a small- yet functional- bathroom... We had an executive bungalow with 3 people. Very... More

The location is great just cross the bridge and you in Hoi an's lovely market and old quarter. But the hotel is terrible, the rooms are equipped to the 1970 standard. Old furniture, hard old spoungee mattresses. Windows rattle with the wind and make terrible noise. Wifi is not working. No sockets to charge your phone. And above all they... More

The location seemed ideal and the hotel presented nicely despite the floods in previous weeks. We walked in off street and were quoted $64pn for a riverside bungalow - bear in mind there had been flooding recently [the tide mark could still be seen on parts of the wall]. Because of location we decided to stay 3 nights which required... More

I accrued a problem whilst staying in Vietnam and the managent and front office staffs were so helpful and were willing to try and help me in any way possible. It is perfectly situated looking over the river and also just outside the old town of Hoi An. The food in the restaurant is nice, the staff are very friendly
