The hotel is fine if simple, but the tv, internet (slow, drops off a lot) and, showers are all poor quality (especially if you are above 5ft 5"). Staff are more friendly than useful in providing information. The location starts toget a bit irritating if you are here for a few nIghts - coming back for a shower before the...

I was really looking forward to my stay at the Hai Au after reading all the reviews and was rather diappointed when I got there. I had a room on the ground floor which I knew wouldn't have a balcony. The view out of the window was a wall and by 6am staff were working out there. Due to its...

Their staffs really help us a lot when live in Hoi An, arrange everything neatly such as train, bus, tour Location is near old town just 5-10 minute walking Room is very clean and especially it has personal computer itself, comfortable to plan trip next day Only weak point is about breakfast, just a few menu to eat and tasteless...

This is really a great little hotel. Yes the rooms are a little tired but they are spotless and have everything you need, including a computer and a dvd player. The staff are fantastic and do everything to help you. And yes they do all learn your names. They create a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. If as another person has...

The only possible negative would be that it is not right in the thick of things but an easy walk to the old town area. Bikes are available for rent for a quick ride to the sea. The staff were so helpful and kind, the rooms were large and spotless. The breakfasts were exceptional - peanut butter! We loved it...

We had the swans on our bed too. My partner keep taking pictures of it and doesn't want to sleep on the bed lol. Staff were excellent really helpful and i think they are one of the reasons why this hotel is popular. Spacious room with computer and little balcony with view of Cua Dai Rd. clean bathroom. Breakfast was...

We stayed for 4 nights and had a lovely time. The hotel is pretty close to the centre of the ancient town, takes about 10-15 minutes walk to get there. Breakfast was decent, enough to keep you going, you can have eggs cooked how you want them. The hotel has a pool which was clean and refreshing, which a lot...

There are lots of positive points about Hai Au, and I will remember the helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is clean and comfortable and offers good value. I think of it as a 2-3 star hotel trying to be 4 star. It is only about 300 metres to the fringe of the Old Town, so I walked there at...

We stayed here for 4 nights on our 3 month tour of SE Asia, this is a stand out hotel from our trip, the staff greet you by name every time they see you, this is a nice touch, but the truly great thing is they just want to look after you, help you enjoy your stay. Rooms are great,...
