Located in the Truong Son mountain range 25 km to the SW of Da Nang at an altitude of 1487m and one hour by road from Da Nang lies the Bà Nà mountains. Its temperate climate, unspoiled forest, and spectacular views over the city of Da Nang's awe-inspiring bay and the Lao mountain range made Bà Nà a past popular place to retreat for the French. Today the area still attracts locals and tourists alike. YOUR ROAD TO HEAVENLY SCENERY… Sitting in the VIP cabin, mid air, looking upon the endless tree line of the forests, guests will be able to enjoy breathtaking views of the lush jungle and waterfalls along the way. Experiencing the pristine ecological system of the Bà Nà mountains will bring you a sense of unforeseeable discovery. Beginning its inaugural service this March 25th of 2009, the Bà Nà Cable Car carries guests to the mountain tops within minutes compared previously to almost an hour by road.

I had no idea what to expect as we wanted to visit the Golden Bridge. So a quick summary. We took a cab from Hoi An - the cabs in the town square will do it for 1m Dong there and back. It’s about an hour drive and we bought tickets to enter the resort at 700k Dong each off some f

I only saw the hand bridge advertised before going to Vietnam and didn't actually know about the whole other extraordinary world waiting there too. I also hadn't realised you have to go on the worlds longest and highest cable car to get to the hand bridge. My husband kindly cover

I booked a tour here mainly to visit the Golden Bridge. I thought a theme park replicating a European village and actors impersonating a bunch of cultures from around the world would be a bit tacky and boring - however surprisingly we had an enjoyable day out. The cable car ride

Hired a private driver from Hoi An for the day. Realistically took about 1 hour to get there. 700000 dong per person entry is well worth it. Catch one of the cable cars up to the top and spend a few hours strolling around taking in the historic French village. There are a num

Hi all, my flight is delay and we might missed the last cable car up to Mercure hotel at Bana hills. Can anyone advise if cable car is the only option up to the hotel. Thanks in advance.
I just am back from Bana Hills! Awesome place! If you think you’ll be unable to catch the last cable car due to plane delay, I would advise you to contact your hotel management about it. They’ll advise you what to do.

Hi, Amaliakol! Thank you for the review. As far as I understand, you stayed at the Ba Na Hills Resort - the hotel there, is that right? I'm thinking of going and staying there for three days but the stuff on the phone told us that before getting to the hotel we must get to the park and pay for the entrance, which is ok but they said it was valid only for one time. Is that true? Is there no pass for the ppl who stay at the hotel?? Do we have to pay for entrance again every time we go on tour outside the park? Is it the resort that is designed for stay on its territory only?
Sorry, I can't answer your question as I didn't stay at Ba Na Hill. I stayed 2 nights in Hoi An & 2 nights at Danang City. Made a day trip only to Ba Na Hill. Seriously, if you stay up the hill for 2 nights, there are not many things you can do, especially in the night.

Did anyone rent a motorbike from Hoi An or Hue and ride up to Ba Na Hills ? If so how was it and would you recommend it to see the countryside along the way ?
We hired the hotel mini van from hotel to bottom of the hill of Ba Na. Then, we took the cable car up. Thus, really nothing much on the way.

Would you mind my asking if there is only one hotel named Mercure Danang French Village located on the top of Ba Na Hills? Looks like the only access to the top is by cable car, how much is the fare? Thank you.
You can get a car up if staying at hotel . There is a road and they take you up . 20 bucks for cable car and ba na hills I think . I got tour and pick up from my hotel all rides in there free and cable car cost 50 USA . Awesome place
