I did not bother posting any photos as there are plenty on other reviews and the hotels website. The location, grounds and facilities are extremely photogenic; you cannot take a bad photo! Check In; We booked a private transfer through the hotel and they were waiting upon our arrival to assist with our baggage; the vehicle was a mid size Lexus...

Our stay was truly memorable. The resort is well maintained and just gorgeous. The resort is quite big but still easy to get around by the 24-hour tram. All staff speak fair English and friendly. Whenever they see a guest, they say hello and always have a smile on their face. The only comment we have is that the in-room...

As a family of four with young children, we had such a good time. The service is outstanding, as is the resort itself. Fantastic daily breakfast and a very enjoyable champagne Sunday brunch! Our only complaint is that the main pool is unavailable to families, kids are not allowed which is rare these days and disappointing - especially since that...

Everything from the location, facilities and staff were exceptional at this resort. Our special occasion was made even more special by the friendly and accommodating staff who made every request feel effortless. The facilities and location made it easy to feel well removed, for some relaxation, from the daily hustle and bustle. Already planning our next visit back to this...

From our initial welcome on arrival at 9am to the escorted departure from the Da Nang airport, my wife and I were treated like royalty. I have IHG Platinum status which is not that difficult to obtain, and by the way we were treated I started to believe we were celebrities. The weather was windy and gray, but we took...

We spent three nights here recently and loved every minute of our stay. From the lush surroundings to the elegant design. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. From the minute we arrived we felt like we were well looked after. The kids loved seeing the monkeys on our balcony. Loved being up on Heaven level , the views over...

Most incredible Easter break well spent in Danang! Intercontinental Danang is the most beautiful beach resort I've been to, every corner is an architectural masterpiece, there is no mono tone in the resort, every space is designed with a different beautiful piece of Vietnamese culture. Never been to a place where every single person will say "xin chao" to you...

My family and I (2 young boys and 2 adults) stayed at the InterContinental Danang recently and enjoyed every moment of our holiday. Right from the arrival, we were treated very well and were known by name (join the IHG Rewards program - it's great). The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and this made the check-in process a a...

We visited this deservedly repeated winners of the best luxury resort in the world in April 2016 and had the holiday of a lifetime, which we thought wouldn't be bettered, but it was. Having been in Hong Kong the previous week hearing of a typhoon in Da Nang we were a little anxious but the wonderful staff even arranged for...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hidden in the myth-filled hills of 'Monkey Mountain' in the heart of the Son Tra Peninsula nature reserve, the five-star InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort a work of art as much as a resort. Set in 37 hectares of stepped gardens leading down to a private beach - dramatic views of the sea can be enjoyed from all 200 rooms - every inch of this luxury resort is the stunning creation of star architect Bill Bensley and, as a result, is unique in design and concept. Gourmet travellers will appreciate La Maison 1888 (and its outstanding wine cellar) by multi-Michelin starred Pierre Gagnaire, while those looking for a genuine wellness retreat will love the HARNN Heritage Spa set in a private lagoon. Travellers can treat tired feet to the ultimate pedicure by 'podiatrist to the stars' Bastien Gonzalez as global leaders put the world to rights at The Summit, the resort's impressive conference centre. Billed as the place "where myth meets luxury", it's an easy drive from InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort to UNESCO world heritage sites of Hoi An, Hue and My Son (described as "Vietnam's Angkor Wat") making it a perfect base for travellers seeking an experience that connects them to central Vietnam. ... more   less
