I have travelled all over the world, stayed in the best of the best. InterContinental Danang is top notch. This is not your average beach resort or even your average Intercontinental. This is a 6* resort. The decor is hip, modern, colorful with no details forgotten. The staff is incredible, whether this is due to training or to the wonderful...

If you’ve got the money to splurge, the place to stay in Danang is the Intercontinental. Brought to fruition by famed resort designer, Bill Bensley, this little pocket of Son Tra Peninsula is jaw-dropping - from the bird’s eye perspective on Nam Tram to every small detail in the interior design. The staff go through great lengths to personally care...

This resort is nothing short of amazing. The staff, the grounds, and the amenities all surpassed our expectations. You could stare at the architecture and interior design details and find something new and amazing each time. Look out for the monkeys!

It is rare to find a hotel experience that is so unique it warrants a place on a list of must do destination in a city. Danang Intercontinental is one of those select few. There is no need to add to the accolades that this resort has accumulated in just the few years of its existence. My expectations are correspondingly...

What makes the Intercontinental so special, are the staff. Absolutely no doubt. We were in DaNang for a conference and used some time before and after, to enjoy what has to be one of the finest resorts in the world. From check in, to meeting our butler 'My', we were shown to the Club lounge with views across the peninsula...

I can't speak highly enough of this resort. The welcome when one arrives, the explanation and tour of the resort. The room was beautifully furnished, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was to die for. A special thank you to Nguyen Tien Hai. I shall definitely return.

The hotel really offers a truly unique experience with friendly staff, excellent services and breathtaking ocean view. What I love about it is the beautiful architecture, blending sophisticatedly with the local touch. It feels great just being very close to nature. Monkeys sometimes steal your fruits in the room which is kinda cute and funny. Close the door if you...

This hotel would earn 6 stars. Firstly the position is perfect facing the sea with a lovely beach. The grounds are stunning. Next the accomodation which is superb, I cant think of anything that has been missed. If you can afford a peninsular suite the terrace is absolutely wonderful.Although the hotel is built on the side of a hill, they...

The place is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing - the surroundings lush. The staff was amazing, professional always there at a moment's notice. The tiered, mountain visage with the resort well blended in balanced harmony makes one have to disconnect from the world for a while.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hidden in the myth-filled hills of 'Monkey Mountain' in the heart of the Son Tra Peninsula nature reserve, the five-star InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort a work of art as much as a resort. Set in 37 hectares of stepped gardens leading down to a private beach - dramatic views of the sea can be enjoyed from all 200 rooms - every inch of this luxury resort is the stunning creation of star architect Bill Bensley and, as a result, is unique in design and concept. Gourmet travellers will appreciate La Maison 1888 (and its outstanding wine cellar) by multi-Michelin starred Pierre Gagnaire, while those looking for a genuine wellness retreat will love the HARNN Heritage Spa set in a private lagoon. Travellers can treat tired feet to the ultimate pedicure by 'podiatrist to the stars' Bastien Gonzalez as global leaders put the world to rights at The Summit, the resort's impressive conference centre. Billed as the place "where myth meets luxury", it's an easy drive from InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort to UNESCO world heritage sites of Hoi An, Hue and My Son (described as "Vietnam's Angkor Wat") making it a perfect base for travellers seeking an experience that connects them to central Vietnam. ... more   less
