after browsing online, hai yen was one of the cheapest places we could find to stay while in mui ne. they're currently doing construction on their beach front rooms so we were across the street and upgraded to a family room, free of charge. some staff members were indifferent but one was very helpful and friendly. the beach wasn't great...

We were looking for somewhere to spend a month at in Mui Ne and checked this place out. They said we could have the beach front room because we would be there for such a long time. So the next day we checked in only to be told the room we were promised is not available. Great!! We spent 1...

Nice enough hotel for the price. Staff were indifferent, as another reviewer noted. Beach was not adequate, glad there was a pool. Walking distance to great fruit vendors and ok restaurants. Night life is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel and is full of Russians so watch out.

stayed at the hai yen resort for 3 nights. was happy overall with the stay they location and grounds were nice, rooms fairly decent and the resraunt adequate. problems arose when booking bus tickets to dalat. despite clearly saying dalat repeatedly and saying " so 5 tickets to dalat" once the purchase had been made we were given tickets to...

Hello Zaq S, Thank you for your review on our hotel. We sincerely apologize for the bad experiences that you had at Hải Yên. I was not there the time this problem occurred so I don't know whose fault is was. However, I know for sure that "one man on a moped" and the quickly offered room are not parts...

Mui Ne is to be avoided unless you're Russian and like your beach resorts expensive, with poor beaches, and loads of rubbish seafood restaurants. This hotel is okay, breakfast is not included, the staff are indifferent. Apart from the tacky tourist feel to Mui Ne, it's a good thirtyonite taxi ride from the train station - at least 500000 VND...

I moved here after a horrible experience at the bedbug infested Hiep Hoa Resort down the street and could not have been happier with the change! My room was $20, was clean with cable tv, AC and an ocean view. I was so happy sthat it had a pool too (which is key in Mui Ne due to the wind...

It felt like we had rang up every guesthouse in Mui Ne looking for somewhere that was under $20 and so when we rang Hai Yen and they said they had a $12 room with a shared bathroom we jumped at it! The staff on reception seemed quite rude when we arrived but we were just happy to be there...

First of all, Mui Ne is the pits. If you want a beach vacation, this isn't the ideal place to be. As for the hotel, the best things I can say are that it was centrally located and the pools were nice. Everything is super overpriced here compared to other places In Vietnam. Our room was around $35/nt and did...

15$ for a room with an old bed, stinky room and no A/C... No way!! You can get way better around there. We just moved to another hotel 8$ room, clean nice, water refills for free, fridge and kitchen available to cook your own stuff and the staff is amazing :) Don't rent motorbikes for 8$, we've been in Vietnam...

We stayed 4 nights at the start of November 2012, it is really clean well run family hotel, with two medium sized swimming pools. It has access to the beach from the front part of the hotel. The location could be slightly better, but it is was still one of the best value places we have stayed in our 5...
