This is a simple lodge with fairly basic accommodation but is well run and in a great location right on the bank of the Maramba river. We were just here for two nights, as a base for visiting Victoria Falls, but enjoyed relaxing around the pool and watching the wildlife around the river. The wildlife does come even closer -...

I stayed in the safari tent. The bed was comfortable and the tent had everything I needed. It was a little worn but everything was perfectly functional. There were a lot of mosquitoes at the lodge. The food at the lodge was decent but nothing special. There was an outdoor bar that overlooked the Maramba River. We spotted some hippos...

We stayed here for 3 nights. The chalet we had was very basic, but tidy, clean and comfortable. The mosquito net around the bed was very good. You definitely need one if you stay here. The view over the river (at the bar and restaurant) was wonderful. We have sit there for some moments, had a drink and watch the...

We spent two nights at Maramba 25th & 26th Sept 17. We occupied tents 11,12 & 13. The accommodation was adequate and luckily the fan functioned to keep air moving especially to disorientate the mosquito. Although we were protected with nets when sleeping, there was no protection other than a burning coil to keep the other areas free of mosquitoes....

It`s a good place for accomodation, but when we visit Maramba in September our vehicle was destroyed at the campsite. The watchmen were blind or worked together with the gangsters. Now in November we stayed again at Maramba. The bartender was very lazy. She seldom moved, an the tables were dirty for days.

My husband and I stayed here for a night to see the Zambian side of Victoria Falls (which we liked the best!), the lodge is very much a safari lodge - rooms are individual huts with en suite bathrooms. The rooms are clean and decent but quite expensive given they are relatively basic. If you are looking for nature then...

We stayed 2 nights on the campground after arriving in Livingstone from Europe and departing again at the end of our journey. The campground was spacious and good equipped with fire/cooking place, water and if needed electricity. Ablution blocks were clean and spacious and free WIFI is available at the bar/pool. The restaurant was really good – especially the Maramba...

Not wanting to be in Livingstone and its busy-ness, we chose Maramba River Lodge near the Falls. We had a tent cabin and enjoyed it. A bit tight for all we carried, but we made it work. The food, breakfast included, was adequate. The pool side was a great place to spend time, stay cool, meet new people, enjoy some...

It is a normal hotel with a high price. The luxury tents are nice, but the problem is that there are too much mosquitos because the hotel is by the river. As in most of Zambia's hotels the WIFI is not working or really poor and only by the pool. We request some information for a tour and they told...

Dear Lara T Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. Considering we include a light breakfast, free WIFI, game spotting opportunities, morning and afternoon tea/biscuits we do consider our prices to be very competitive for this area. We stayed in an en suit tent for one night. The tent was comfortable with clean and comfortable beds and a good shower with hot water. The place is swarming with mosquitoes. which they do warn you about, so make sure you take repellent. The tents have screens and are fumigated to control the mosquitoes. The Bar and lounge area...
